<div>I'm at a loss as to where to find Vemerik. I heard he was south of the center of North Queynos in a patch of woods. I didn't find him there, so I tried both tracking and a guard, and both proved unsucessful.</div><div> </div><div>I also thought that you couldn't hit level ten without completing this quest, but I'm at level ten and keep gaining experience.</div><div> </div><div>Can someone give me a hand?</div>

As for the NPC, you can walk up to any city guard and double click them, and then type in the name of the NPC you are looking for, and a shiny path will lead the way.</p><p>As for the class quests, they are out, as of the latest patch. You are now a ranger from level 1, as with all other classes.</p>

<div></div><div></div><p>It seems you like posting replies to my posts, and they are all geared the same way, so I didnt read what you said here, I'm sure it's the same as the rest of your posts. You do know its fairly easy to see all the posts you made right?</p><p>In all the posts ive read from you, you have yet to use a single "."! Do you know what they are for? I dont come to these boards to pick posts apart. I tried to help this guy out, and you picked MY post apart, plz get your facts straight. So whatever game it is you think I'm gonna play with you, I'm sorry to let you down. Maybe in 10 years, if you age like wine <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Now plz, go find something better to do than troll the forums. Some of us are actually here for useful and friendly exchange of information.</p><p>In all honesty, I really dont see the need for any "help" to make you look noob. All one has to do is review your post history. Guess your level does say a little something as well, not to mention your spelling.</p><p>Message Edited by Miztery on <span class="date_text">02-13-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:32 AM</span></p>

<div></div>Ok guys, thanks... I think. since I wasn't finding the guy I thought I might have been doing something wrong and there might be a reason as to why I haven't found him.

<div></div><div></div><p>Not to get annoying with this or anything, but the guy still isn't showing up there. I know he's supposed to be in North Qeynos in the patch of woods by the in, or south of the giant Claymore, I got that from several threads I've looked at, but he's still not there. Is there a certain time of day this guy (Vemerik) shows up? Or am I missing a character requirement. Thought it might've been that I need to be on the brink of level 10 Artisan, but I'm already there -- 179%. So I'm wondering if the most recent patch put him in a different location or ousted him altogether?</p><p>Asking the guard doesn't work either: search result says they dont know who he is. Same thing with tracking.</p><p>Message Edited by Uilebheist on <span class="date_text">02-14-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:43 AM</span></p>

<div> </div><div>To the best of my knowledge / observation Vemerik has not appeared in NQ since LU19.</div><div> </div><div>He certainly wasn't there on the first Saturday after LU19 (Splitpaw Server) nor have I seen since him</div><div>with the alt I've been trailing through the new ranger character progression.</div><div> </div><div>Other stuff has changed location (eg trainers in The Elddar Grove) so maybe he's changed zone</div><div>if the guards aren't giving a waypoint.</div><div> </div><div>Sorry I can only give this negative help.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Powys</div><div>Lvl 50/51 Ranger/Alchy</div><div>Splitpaw</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div>Assuming that the guy is, indeed, gone for good, is there any other way that I'd be able to get my artisan level from 9 over the border to ten?

Unless they changed that when they booted a ton of NPCs out of Qeynos Harbor.</p><p>Also, according to EQ2 maps <a target="_blank" href="http://maps.eq2interface.com/poi.php?id=1663">http://maps.eq2interface.com/poi.php?id=1663</a> Vemerik is in Qeynos Harbor and is for the level 10 Scout quest. Just what quest are you trying to do here? The level 10 Scout quest or the level 10 Artisan quest? Because you have mentioned both in this thread. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>If you are indead looking for the level 10 Artisan quest guy this is him. Or at least it was before LU 19... <a target="_blank" href="http://maps.eq2interface.com/poi.php?action=view&id=851">http://maps.eq2interface.com/poi.php?action=view&id=851</a></p><p>Message Edited by Incedious on <span class="date_text">02-14-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:34 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Incedious on <span class="date_text">02-14-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:39 PM</span></p>

Vemerik (not sure of the spelling) is only for the adventurer class quests for scouts. Not sure if he's still there.
