about inteligence again

Just take off all INT gear and examine the dmg, the put all on and do it again. <div></div><p>Str affects CA's for sure ...</p><p>in the same way that int affects poison <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> take out the str things and check again your CA's.</p><p>Even i saw the dmg increase on poison geting up my int, im not sure if this will be worthy and the only way to know it is parse .. i parse always lol but im sure Stream changes the way you play ranger so i wanted the advice of some 60 rng that focused on str .. some of the Str / Int rangers ... and if anyone went straigh for int since STR comes pretty alone with raid gear ..</p><p>So you get earthen band and compensate with a pearl int imbued ring.</p><p>You get those 20 str pants and compensate with another 10+ int slot etc..</p><p>well thx for the input <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div></div><p>omg varkas lol i forgot you had a ranger or i would asked you directly <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>my ranger is called masu, but i think i will lose the name tomorrow ( server merge ) so not sure how i will call him lol</p><p>Masu is 49 and gona hit 50 today.</p><p>I hope to have him on 60s before KoS cse guardian is worth a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] out of raid, so i only log axor to raid then log back to masu and get some real fun.</p><p>I will post once im 60 and get some parsing with and without int with some real raid encounters.</p><p>=)</p>

<div>I've been parsing my damage with Advanced Combat Tracker to try and come up with a good balance of str and int. I do around 50% of my damage with poisons and 50% with CA's. I use Adestes(DD) and Bite of the Shissar(poison debuff). My normal operating int is around 130ish and my str is close to 200 with ring buffs. When I buff my int with Font of Knowledge for 47 int I do around 57% of my damage with poisons. If I buff my str 47 points with Gaige's I do about 57% of my damage with the CA's.</div><div> </div><div>It appears to me that even with my int slightly lower than my str I still do more damage with my poisons than I do with my CA's.</div><div> </div><div>Aghubo</div><div>55 Ranger</div><div>Permafrost</div><div> </div>

<div>Well then again yeah it depends , since u said your str was to 200, yes u might doing good portion of dmg with poison...</div><div> </div><div>In raid , i can get my str up to around 550 , depending on classes in group so that gives me a great bonus, then again i didnt do the parsing vs poison and all so hard to tell, all i know is i can do with my setting up to 1500dps on raid without grabbing aggro , im fairly sure that if i up to whatever else number , ill be grabbing aggro, but well dunno , im not sure hehe</div>
