<div>Server is down so here spouting off since i can an noy my guild members tonight :smileytongue:</div><div> </div><div>But a thought on dual wield ....... To me why cant dual wield be a nice big damage one- hander in the main hand and a dual wield in the off hand. Since they are slowly reverting to some refernces to main hand and off hand (up to this point akaik it made no difference)  I always saw dual wield as a true one-handed weapon in one hand, say your dominant hand,  and a smaller weapon in the off hand. To me it seems more like a conscious decsions to toss away a shield and go for raw damage rather than carrying around two itty bitty pokers.</div>

Actually, IRL (yes I know games are not) there is a style that is all about that. The Japanese call it Daisho, which means "big and small" or "the long and the short" which is a Katana (long) and a Wakizashi (short). It is possible to weild two Katana, since they are similar to [Removed for Content] swords in that you can 1 - 1 1/2 - 2 hand them. But obviously a much higher degress of skill/competency/ambidextrousness would be required. It is far easier to use a Wakizashi in your off hand.I know there is another style (euro ish) that has a similar form, but I think the smaller blade is more for defense than attack.. man I wish I could recall enough to do a decent Google search.Miyamoto Musashi ftw.Merkades, 60th Ranger.Siege, Najena.
