Returning to EQ2

I've been playing WoW since right before DoF was released.  I think I'm going to give EQ2 another shot.  From what I can tell of the five minutes I was able to play last night after the 2.5hr install and patch was that a whole lot has changed.  My scanning of some of these posts makes me think that the ranger class has become what I had hoped it would, the pure monster DPS class.  Sound right?<div></div>

Granted, I'm not expecting it to last, but I'm savoring it while it does. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Either way, I think we're worlds better than pre-LU13, and I think that era is behind us for good.

Aye, I'll have to agree with the others, Rangers are now DPS machines (one of my favorite pastimes is trying to make pincushions out of the mobs so the tanks can have a nice place to hang up their gear after a fight <span>:robothappy:</span>)With the expansion coming and Live Update 19 scheduled for Feb 2nd, there should also be some pretty good gaming changes for us, including PvP if you like it (I'm strictly PvE.)Good luck!<div></div>
