Don't even bother going outside our boards, you get rocks thrown at you just b/c it says 'ranger' under your name.</div><div> </div><div>But IMO, it's not a question of IF we're going to get nerfed, but when and how. Either way, whatever comes our way, we'll survive as we always have. It might cull the herd a bit and remove those who are just the FOTM ranger alts, but those of us who are Rangers for Life will stick with it through thick and thin. <div></div><p>OK.  Now this is a question I can answer.  I am now 55.  Low 50s I would solo in the Clefts.  Mostly hanging out by stonegorger for the loot.  Now I prefer POF.  I always target yellow con mobs when XPing. </p><p>As far as XP is concerned though I would much rather get a group of guildies and hit up the second and third level of the clefts.  Some really good XP to be had there.</p>

<div></div><p>i dont think its any class should be ashamed to admit it can solo well, especialy "on pain for nerf", lets face it we are paying SOE every month to immerse us in a fantasy world where we can feel like heroes, or dastardly villians.</p><p>Its obvious that a "hero" should be able to best a typically stronger apponent, literature and film tells us this.. and this is what fantasy gaming has allways been about.</p><p>so in the spirit of the genre its a no brainer that any one player character should be able to take out a yellow or +yellow,  if SOE even starts telling us .. or any class for that matter,  ahh well.. you should stick to blues or maybee whites for solo play then they are telling us to go back to reality and seek mediocrity, or erm warcraft perhaps.</p><p>this is not in their interests and im sure they realise this,</p><p>i have played a number of toons to mid levels and have found that all could solo yellows .. at varing speeds and with differing downtime, and also different levels of skill and or concentration on my behalf.</p><p>i think  its all about finding your rhythm, and connecting with how a character actually plays. i love my ranger, and some out there may disagree, but i find him concentration intensive.. he tires me out, but in a good way, my necro on the otherhand gets his own xp while im off making a coffee .. or so it seems. </p><p>Its just different strokes for different folks.</p>
