<div>Currently lvl 26 ranger and been using the damage poisons religiously since they first became available at 10.  However, I find the descriptions of the various types of poisons available somewhat less than informative, if not outright confusing.  I understand that damage component of poisons is combo of upfront initial proc damage followed by dot damage.  However, its not always clear which number is referring to upfront damage and dots, and these numbers are often listed in different orders.</div><div> </div><div>Since I solo alot and fights must end quickly (if I am to end fight upright) I want the highest upfront damage possible with dot numbers being secondary.  Am I right in assuming that "declining poisons" are ones that have the larger hits upfront and smaller dot numbers?  If not, which ones are? When choosing a poison should I just look at the highest set of numbers and assume thats the upfront damage?</div><div> </div><div>Also I assume that dots don't stack they just get overwritten if multiple procs?</div><div> </div><div>Once again, Im a relative noob and I did search for this info but could not find readily available.  I apologize if this is beating a dead horse for some of you.  Any input appreciated. </div>
