i actually would agree on the prismatic bow if it would be predator only <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />else id guess that every guardian etc. would go for the bow aswell, statwise, because you can find pretty nice weapons in t6, but just sucky bows ^^

<div></div>Well another good question is why are our Master Strikes are all hand to hand and not a bow?  I think we should have a Prismatic bow, but to be honest there are too many things like the master strikes and oh yeah no H.O's that we can use with the bow.  So tell me in that since are we hand to hand fighters to Sony?  Until we can get those changed to work with the bow we are are still going to be back burner on the prismatic's IMHO.

<div></div><p>As it stands now, the Prismatic 2.0 will be backup gear for me.  That's F'g pathetic.  If I'm going to keep shelling out a monthly fee, and plowing through bottomless quest lines, at least let there be something worthwhile waiting at the end.  Give me a weapon I can use...  something I can be proud of.  I don't need another useless trophy to show off that the docks.</p><p> </p>

<div></div>Well dont feel too bad about the H.O's and master strikes now.  Yeah I hate starting a H.O because of the surveil bug i always forget and use it and then get bugged.  I know its not all the time but [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] annoying when it does happen.  Trust me I am a ranger I use a bow and if it gets to in your face fighting I feel I did something wrong so the Master Strike to me is a useless line as it stands.  And I want a prismatic bow badly.  I played a little guildwars durning my absence from eq2 and the Stormbow there was a gorgeous bow looked like a long bow with lighting dancing around it.  I miss that bow so much I used it for my lastname.

<div></div><font size="3">Hopefully someone who can do something about it will eventually read this thread.  I think it's safe to say that <i><b>every</b></i> ranger would like to have both a choice for a prismatic bow for the t5 prismatic quest and for the t6 prismatic quest.  This at the very minimum.If you really want to offer rangers the same opportunity as most other classes, put some real t6 fabled bows into the game.  Not more junk like Darkfury.  And that is exactly what it is...junk.  This is something that I have been very frustrated with for quite some time.  It's awfully silly that we don't have this already.</font><div></div><p>Message Edited by Zholain on <span class="date_text">01-25-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:58 PM</span></p>

<div></div>I think so. I generally try to stick with peaceful resistence and the like, but we're getting all-out attacked when someone so much as a poses a suggestion about quest rewards. Instantly we're pounced on and accused of complaining about our DPS (ummm, where?) and about our opposition to the change to HTH weapons proc'ing on our bows - which Goern's thread had nothing to do with. It's just plain ridiculous when the fact that a ranger mentions a weapon turns into a witch-hunt on a bunch of completely fictitious charges.

<div></div>Guess the other classes want us to shut up and color.  That being said its hard for them to see the forest for the trees when it comes to what we are asking for.  Maybe they should cruise our board just to see what is being said.  I mean I cruise our board all day long and dont see any of us asking for what they have the impression we are asking for.  Hell you would think from thier posts that we are asking for the moon or something.  Hell next thing will be floating around is us asking for mobs that can only be hit by rangers and no other class.

Wow I guess I missed allot on the boards the last little while.  The one comment that absolutely killed me on there though, was from the assassasin complaining about only being able to assassanate for 8-9 every 15 minutes.  And the fact that his AA's are going to suck.  I really wanted to make a comment, but, I figured I would keep it civil.  But, please correct me if I'm wrong in saying that we are the same way (sniper shot instead of assassanate)?<div></div>

<div></div>Yeah, Sniper only comes every 15 mins...but we don't get it til 58, and they get Assassinate earlier on. Those two skills aren't the end-all comparison of rangers vs assassins, though - they do still need some DPS help.
