<div>I know we have probably had this thread on here before, but I wanted to ensure before I go raiding tonight that I have arrows of different damage types in case mobs are immune to certain things.</div><div> </div><div>Should indium and fulginate pretty much cover it?  I'm looking for advice from some experienced raiding rangers, since I am not.</div><div> </div><div>Also, should I bite the bullet and buy a couple of stacks of cobalt arrows for auto attack damage?</div><div> </div><div>Any help would be appreciated!</div>

The tier of the arrow will only determine the auto-attack damage, it's the type of arrow that defines how it does its damage.Summoned arrows from both Backup Quiver and Arrow Rip do pierce damage, Hunting arrows do Slashing damage and Blunt arrows do crushing damage. It's your choice regarding the Cobalt arrows but personally I don't use them, it'd work out far too expensive in all honesty. My advice would be to use your summoned fulginate and indium arrows and keep a supply of hunting arrows for pierce resistant mobs.<div></div>

<font size="2">Agreed.  Go the the lighthouse in Antonica and speak to the lady vendor there.  She sells iron hunting arrows.  Buy a few stacks of them and you'll be good to go.  There is no desperate need to buy slashing and crushing though unless you <b><i>really</i></b> want to maximize your dps.  With an update long ago, the devs changed all raid mobs so that they would not be immune to more than one damage type(piercing, slashing, or crushing).  But they can still be immune to one type (pierce, for example) and have a higher resistance to another (slash, for example), so crushing would do more damage, plus would cause your skills to do that type of damage.  But I have found very few scenarios where I thought that carrying a full supply of three different type of arrows would be worth the trouble.</font><div></div>

not totaly true, Darathar is immune to slash and piercing still. Even using Ebon legendary arrows, non hit and using Legendary and fabled slash weapons non hit. But normal ROunded arrows hit very well, but cause not legendary have a lower dmg amount. Best thing to do to stock up for raiding immune style mobs is find a mid lvl woodworker and give him a load of supplies to level with, having him level with making rounded or Hunting arrows, you'll get a few stacks for raids, and he'll be a happy lil worker with free supplies. Believe lvl20-30 is best phase of thier crafting to use rounded and hunting for exp, and those while taking long to make for them , gives really nice exp returns.Mainly what dev's did was make it so Non-legendary items hit them, but for lesser dmg, believe max is 75% of the dmg is all they will do now. However, they still can be Immune to two types of dmg. Like darathar is immune to Slash and Piercing. However, your arrows still hit and still proc, so your proc dmg is still being done which over all is about 30% of your total dmg in long term fights.<div></div>

<font size="2">Darathar is NOT immune to slash.  He is immune to pierce, and particularly weak against poison.  Ebon Arrows are not slashing.  They are legendary piercing arrows.  Slashing arrows are any type that say "xxx Hunting Arrow".  They can be iron, fulginate, indium, or whatever.  There are npc sold versions and player crafted versions.</font><div></div>
