<div>From what i have read on forums, upgrading stuns has one purpose, it decreases the chance to fail. You are more likely to land a hit with adept 3 than adept 1, durations and everything else stay the same.</div>

<div></div><p>That is true the higher level the spell the better chance of it not getting resisted.  I upgraded Cheap Shot early on -Mid-High 20's if I remember since that was the recommendation on the Ranger Forum -Cost about 30gp on the Broker.  Can not complain about the cost yet.  I am still using it in Zek and Feerrot and the resists are few.  Of course it becomes more frequent on Heroics but I expect it on such mobs.</p><p>For a level 6 CA's  well worth the Coin or Rare for it.</p><p> </p>

<div>I upgraded to adept 3 around level 30 (got it really cheap for around 5gp I think). I'm now level 51 and it is still one of the most useful skills I have. For me it does not work on anything ^ or more too well, but it well let you drop back and get at least one shot in.</div><div> </div><div>Well worth getting in my opinion.</div>

I've noticed its effect on some ^+ mobs, had a ^^ blue con heroic stunned for duration of it last night, so seems its breaking early is just by chance. Does more often then not, but I believe the Adept 3 gives a 20% harder ro resist, so seems that applies to its stun duration also, but not sure. With App1, i broke almost instantly on  ^ 's and above, but with adept 3 seems some mobs don't break it as early. Lasts almost full 2sec on them at times so sems to me Adept 3 is worth it for the rare occasion it holds longer. Also, I think its effectiveness is greater on the ^'s and above vrs mobs lower then your level. But the effect always lasts on no arrows and down arrow mobs.<div></div>

Hi there,I have cheap shot at App1 or App4, not sure atm. Being at level 48 and as far as i can remember, it did stun every single time i used it. it never failed. The stun duration is 2 seconds for a ^ or higher mob and 6 seconds else.Cheap shot of course is extremely important when you are soloing and you will surely forever use it.But as for my own experience - you don't need to upgrade this CA.Greetings,tom1301<div></div>

i agree, upgrading cheap shot doesnt seem bring anything new to the skill... i have it as adept3 thou, havent noticed anything compared to app2The ^ and more mobs are stunned for 2 secs or hmm they used to be more like mezzed (any dmg will break the 2s stun). But its enought to get one bow CA or sumthing else out... if not more, even distance to the mob could help <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />++Xan<div></div>

<div></div>At level 60 I still have mine as app2.  I've never seen it not work, and never seen it not do just as it says.  It stuns all non heroic mobs for 6 seconds.  It stuns heroic and ^ or greater mobs for 2 seconds.

<div></div><p>Yes it's worth upgrading for reduced resist amounts.  Plus it's very cheap at higher levels to upgrade.</p><p>You often will think it's working when it's not.  You hear the stun sound and animation, but at app levels it usually breaks instantly.  With adept3 it will usually actually stun the mob, even heroics.  As far as solo mobs go, it may not be needed to upgrade, but stunning heroics at 40+, it makes a difference in my experience.</p><p> </p>

That said, it's such an easy upgrade (lapis lazuli takes about 10 mins to find in a newbie zone) you might as well get it, especially if you have the rare... but it's not necessary at all. I think mine's at Adept 1 and it has never failed at all. (And you'd notice if it did, since you rely on the stun to gain bow distance or flanking / back attacks.)</p><p>IMO this spell should not have different grades, it's misleading.</p>

Heh.</p>
