View Full Version : Technical question about Proc
<div></div><div>Hi Rangers,</div><div>first of all, thanks...reading this section helped me with a lot of things related to our wonderful class.</div><div>My name is Kemen, I'm a Ranger of the 23th season - on Lucan D'Lere.</div><div>I have a question, for you. I'm reading this forum and trying to learn the correct working of Proc.</div><div>"Trying" means that I'm not english, and I'm doing my best to understand what I'm reading :smileysad:</div><div>In some topics I've read that some melee weapons' proc to Bow...so...</div><div>"on a successful attack bla bla Gleaming Strike bla bla" this effect can be activated with my bow in addition to Bow's proc, without hitting my target in melee? So, in some lucky cases, our DOT is influenced by 2 proc's?</div><div>3(three) if we consider for example a potion?</div><div>I don't think 4, 'cause the secondary dual weild weapon doesn't proc, correct?</div><div>Is it correct? This is what I've understood. I hope I've explained well...:smileyvery-happy:</div><div>And...if it's correct...how I could know before buying if a weapon can proc to bow? (every weapon proc to bow? eheh)</div><div>Too many questions... :smileyvery-happy:</div><div> </div><div>Thank You so much for the attention, and sorry for my english, if I've made a lot of errors! :smileysad:</div>

<div></div><p>You're post is well written considering you're not English. :smileyhappy:</p><p>To answer your question, a melee weapon with Gleaming Strike won't proc off your bow if you bow already has Gleaming Strike. Imbued weapons seem to act wierd and don't stack well. Thus, I'd recommend having your bow imbued, and possibly one melee weapon if you melee alot.</p><p>As for other weapons that proc off the bow, thats a difficult one to answer. To my understanding, <em>most</em> legendary and fabled weapons will proc off of your bow. At your level, I couldn't any melee weapons with a proc outside of imbued stuff (covered above). Once you get to your low to mid 30s you pick up a few good options such as: PGT, Slime Coated Harpoon - I believe this will proc but I haven't gotten to test it personally), Miner Motivator etc.</p><p>Hope this helps!</p>

<div>im sure gleaming strike does not stack so if you have a bow with gleaming strike and a weapon only one will proc. And normally it will be the proc off the bow. As for other procs providing they arnt gleaming strike they will continue to proc whether the weapon is in the primary or secondary hand. And finally poison will proc both off the bow and off the primary weapon</div>

<div></div><p>Aye, every weapon you can get your hand on will proc off the bow, except for the prismatic 2.0 (which you are forever away from for now as is) So around lvl 30 get the polished granite tomahawk, slime coated harpoon, also you can do heritage quest for short sword of the ykesha. these will all proc on your bow. Gleaming stirke as said befor will not stack. so get an imbued bow, and 1 imbued weapon until you can get your hand on 2 weps with differenct procs. Also poisons are your best friend.</p><p>LeoricLevel 60 ranger</p>
