Ok it is high time SOE broke the button peeps keep pressing to make Rangers lol. Server populations of rangers are too high, heck on my server alone there are hundreds of new rangers you can't play an alt without having like 3 in your group. Nearly every person in my guild has a ranger alt now and it almost makes me sick to be honest. I know Rangers are cool, prolly the coolest =P, but go play your old classes and quit trying to edge in on my bloody spot. And no offense but all you newb alt rangers who think your bad just cause you have a lvl 60 fighter, I've got news for you, I own you all and any Ranger worth his salt who has been around this past year owns you too. Your ten frillin characters you've made and pl'd to whatever lvl and all the info you can read anywhere is no substitute for practical experience as a Ranger.

Ok sorry for that rant and I know not all new rangers even some of the alt ones aren't that bad or are very good Rangers, but you guys are the exception not the rule. I love my class and I've been through thick and thin, but the new guys are starting to bother me lol. Especially the ones whose only claim to fame is stun poison and after that they never seem to learn anything else about our class. Too many of em popping up screaming their uber, but they lack all the depth of our class and they are starting to give us all a bad name. Meh I guess in the end it doesn't matter, I've got a good guild who knows the difference between a real ranger and some patsy alt. And sorry if this is offensive, once again I know not all new rangers are this bad and in fact lots are good rangers, but surely you guys share some of my frustration. It's high time the dev's nerfed us some or gave some other class the spot light, I'm tired of the negative attention and wannabe's. Sorry for the inconstructive post.....anyone like pickles?

dont ask for that. Breaking the will result in a reduction of our Damage.Right now I think tehre are 3 classes worth playing. Ranger, Conjurer and Bruiser. The latter being over powered and in need of a nerfing, the first two are perfect.Dont go asking for things we dont need, rightnow Rangers are about as good as it gets and I for one like it like that. I dont want to be nerf'd because people think we have too many.Guardians are on the opposite end, nerf'd to hell , and likely to stay that way to reduce the population. no need for more than 1 guard in a group, but plenty of need for 4 DPs.

IBTL

OMG You want to nerf yourself? Isnt all that a bit much lol? Wizards went through this, brawlers went through this, and after a long much anticipated wait....we rangers have to deal with being the flavor of the month. Yes, if you have been a ranger for a long time it may seem to be getting a bit crowded on servers or chat rooms or pick up groups...but remember, everything changes, nothing remains the same.

We just happen to be at the point in the life of Rangers where we are king poop of poop hill. Dont you worry, the balancing act that SOE has been performing for the past year + is still going on and I am sure someday Wizards will reclaim their position as the top uber damage utility whatever...but for the love of Antonia...dont wish it upon us.

More people in my mind means more attention will be paid to the ranger and fixes or nerfs, they are both the same to me really, will happen quicker than with other classes.

I love rocky road, but eventually that flavor gets old...boring....so much so that vanilla tastes like a million bucks after eating it again.

Peace Health and Happiness

Saihung Talechaser

The one thing I would like to see nerfed is the stun poision, yes it does cost money but it is just silly and my fear is this alone will get the nerf bat swinging but it won't stop there. At the very least they should reduce the chance to proc for the stun poision. I have a 53 ranger and was duoing with my warlock friend who was higher lvl. We were doing a few ^^^ blue to us spectres. Well I apply my stun poision and we had our strategy all lined up, but it didn't matter, I was able to keep the mob perma stunned almost the entire fight. I was almost embarassed. Do I want rangers nerfed? no, but I would rather see this poison toned down a bit rather than get some over the top "adjustments" Perhaps this would also cool down the ranger furvor now going on.Drevva

Kinda not fair to stop people from being rangers, lol it's funny but yeah i've seen a good number of them as I've leveled up, now 41. I played the game when it first came out and was a warlock and then followed friends to WoW what with the excrutiatingly slow lvling EQ2 had at the time. Friend told me recently that great things have changed and indeed they have vs. the early days. He was Qeynos so I said "I'll be something crazy" thus, I'm an Iksar Ranger, lol. I've gotten this far and I haven't even checked out non-vendor poisons. So pfft, what's stun poison? lol. Really tho I am very much enjoying it and I understand where you come from (in WoW i'm a warlock which is the least played class in the entire game, and things just keep getting made worse for us, but have a rogue alt that i never play now cuz there's way too many).
