Info on Raid Loot for Rangers and scouts.

<div></div><p>Meetings of the Mind in Feerrott drops Cryptic Metallic Coat.  imo still best scout chestpiece out there.</p><p>Zek Instance drops nice jewelery that is still useable at lvl 60, including Battlement of Mind and Fortitude of Body procs.  It also drops the ancient combine weapons, that depending on your setup may or may not still be of use to you.</p><p>Zalek in CL drops the roundshield of striking, which when combined with a procing one hand weapon is also still the best combination.</p>

What annoys me is that whenever we get chain armor drops, it is usually either explicitly Shaman or essentially Shaman oriented. Nothing quite as annoying as seeing a decent piece of chain drop, except that it has 20 odd Wis and +ministration/ordination or some crap.Ohh.. that or it is some nice chain that has Int even.. too bad it is tagged Bard only. It seems the few pieces that are good enough to warrant want, are Agi high, Str then Sta/Wis inclined. I doubt most scouts care about Agi at this point (maybe even Str too, though I rarely cap that myself).Lately, actually decent Scout (note Scout, not chain) loot has not been dropping for us, plenty of the other three types that work well for all of the sub classes that can wear it. I think, it must be because chain armor has to focus on all 5 stats due to the various classes who can wear it which then tends to make it less than desireable for other wearers of that armor type (or they are simply not included as even being able to wear it).I guess I will have some DKP saved up for KoS.. ah well.Merkades, 60th Ranger.Siege, Najena.

<font size="2">Vaz'Gok the Cursed in Feerrot drops the Rathine Leafblade.  Excellent t5 stats (as good as some of the t6 'junk' fabled), and 20% haste if i remember correctly.</font><div></div>

<div></div><p>Ya, haste = suxxorz, go for weps with proc dmg (thats where our power lies) than get t5 gear. There is some nice but rare t6 scout stuff so dont get your hopes up on it. It's not even that good compared to most other classes gear. and as litesd above the chain gear is hardcore shaman only and has ministration on EVERYTHING. What I really want is the bard gear from Al'afaz.... but noooooooo only they get INT even though it's not even that important for em as it ups their power (as they ever run out). I say sony should bring back a good mix of STR and INT gear for us rangers. Best so far is drape of silent screams, and producers hat, and the t5 crafted fabled braclet and necklace of mysterious origin are all decent....oh and a berserkers jewel..lol. And hardened metallic adornment has STR and INT too.. Im  done rambling now :0)</p><p>LeoricLevel 60 ranger</p>

<div></div><p>Living Tomb raid zone drops armour with "many shadows" in the name which is among the best gear Rangers can get currently in th egame, armour-wise anyway. I have personally only seen boot and bracer, but both are lvl 58/59 (good for KoS) and have a lot of str, agi and resists.</p><p>Proc-wise armour from T5 i wouldn't personally invest a lot of time into, as KoS will make it almost worthless soon. It will only be the T6 and T7 gear worthwhile then.</p><p>- Enjoy</p>

So it doesn't hurt to have haste on a bracelet if you cant get anything better. but to take a haste effect on a wep over a dmg proc, thats just odd. LOTS of gear better than "many shadows" gear. For one, we dont need AGI anymore (we never run out of power) we dont need STA (cuz if we pull aggro on raid we dead no matter what) resists dont matter as we can avoid mobs AE"s. <div></div><p>I echoed Cat's words b/c it started to look like we were going to end up bickering about which Fabled items were "better," when Rhanin just wants to list what they are and where they come from.</p><p>Haste <strong>is</strong> a good thing, at that level, and FBSS is a very nice item. Don't worry, it's definitely worthwhile for you. The uber kids were probably referring to the Haste property on Fabled items vs. a damage proc, in which case a damage proc is preferable.</p>
