<div>What are the *must -have* Adept 3 Combat Arts for T5/T6? I chose Stealthy Fire for 54 Master 2 , seemed like a good choice.</div>

<div></div><div>All aggro reducing, stat increasing bow CA's are essential. Then come in the melee CA and utility trap spells etc. Priority-wise i'd say: -</div><div> </div><div>1st - Stealth Bow CA - sniper, stealthy etc</div><div>2nd - Aggro reduces - Advanced surveil and primal agilty etc</div><div>3rd - Self buffs - Trees etc</div><div>4th - Melee CA</div><div>5th - Utility spells - Trap and back-up quiver etc.</div><div> </div><div>It's really not that hard to get T6 rares these days for adp3's, just save the loams in th ecombines for your poisons.</div><div> </div><div>T5 just go for DPS spells. You go through T5 so fast i wouldn't bother upgrading most unless you are rich or have people helping you. Again loams for poisons.</div><div> </div><div>- 60th Seasoned Ranger of Kithikor Server</div><div>- 56th Seasoned Paladin and Defender of Qeynos - Slowly climbing the levels on purpose to avoid premature suicide and destruction until KoS expansion.</div><div>- 31st noob Conjuror</div><p>Message Edited by Siphar on <span class="date_text">01-14-2006</span><span class="time_text">06:35 AM</span></p>

I'd actually switch choice 1 and 2...Agro reducers are the most important, ESPECIALLY if you don't group with the same people every night.Doing damage is easy, you don't need AD3's to do GOOD damage, just GREAT damage, but if you are pulling agro it won't matter in the least <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Agro reduction buff, and the two skills are musts, plus Storm of arrows, Then focus again on agro reduction in t6 and trap,  once you have that bow ca's, don't waste adept 3 on melee ca's they just don't  help really for the amount of melee we rangers do.<div></div>

<div>Depends if you raid a lot or not.</div><div> </div><div>For someone that generally grps a lot or solos, then damage spells before aggro reducers. Most fights are very short anyway, and even though all your spells arent adp3/master1 aggro reducer, doesnt mean to say you are going to pick up aggro.</div><div> </div><div>For a pure raider, perhaps the aggro reduction would be more of a benefit, so i guess it reflects your play style.</div><div> </div>

<div></div><p>Does upgrading your trap to adept III do any good? I have seen on alot of spells there is a resistability component to most spells that as you go up in spell quality, the spell becomes harder to resist (this now appears in the spell descriptions), but when i have looked at different levels of thorny trap, I don't see that descriptor on the spell.  It would make sense that upgrading the spell would make it harder to resist, yet even at adept 1, it rarely gets resisted.  Just curious here, I have the cash to upgrade it, just haven't bothered since it's rarely resisted and upgrading it would appear to have no impact.  Any ideas here?  Just curious.</p><p>Helspawn, 58 ranger Ogguk</p>
