You might not but I will:

- You can now jump off a flying carpet or griffon at any point along your path by hitting your jump key. Beware, as you may take considerable falling damage.- When a character successfully uses Safe Fall, the falling sound and "ouch" animation will no longer play.- Scout tracking abilities can now be filtered more specifically by name.- Haste, DPS, and run speed are now displayed in the Persona window.

Griff diving here I come... Nul.

Well technically summoned and purchased arrows are a different thing but lets hope it goes both ways.

Also excited by:

*** Mentoring ***- Your high level spells are now useable (at a reduced effectiveness) when you mentor a lower level player. No more messing with your hotbar when you want to help out a friend!- Most spells will no longer drop or suspend when you start mentoring a lower-level player. Instead, they now adjust themselves accordingly.

Hopefully that covers poisons as I like to help guilders with heritages and atm all my legendary poisons drop when I do so.

Grif diving now there's thing that would be extremely handy. Provided the falling damage isn't so great that anyone under level 50 dies instantly.

Woot, these changes look great! I was just thinking the other day how great it would be to jump off the griffin instead of running back!

And these!

*** Housing ***- The Qeynos Exchange and Freeport Reserve have expanded their business and now allow those with more prestigious homes access to expanded vault facilities.

The Broker Window:- The Broker window will now show real-time item quantities. If you buy an item, everyone who has that item on the page they're viewing will see the quantity decreasing. To avoid potential purchasing mistakes that might arise if items you see in the window are bought by someone else, items will show zero quantity instead of disappearing entirely.- You can now Buy Stacks or Buy Quantities of items on the Broker window.- The Broker window will now perform a search if the Enter key is pressed while the Item Name or Store Owner fields have focus.- Class information is now displayed for items in the Broker window tooltips.- Searching for food and drink should now be a bit simpler. For example, if you search for level 40-49 foods, you will now only see food that is appropriate for that level range.- There is now an option to pop up a confirmation box when making expensive purchases from the Broker window. The default price is 10 gold, and the slider for the minimum price can be set from 1 gold to 5 plat. This is to prevent the accidental purchase of an expensive item. The option is available in Options -> User Interface -> Game Features -> Broker Window

This is the most promising LU since I started! I tried a base jump off N'Marrs asecnt in Nek the other day, but the new possibilities are mouth watering! When's the magic day?

There is much that pleases me about this update. The poison tooltip is awesome, the broker changes are nice, the mail system tweak is good, the fuel change is fantastic (now if they would just do it with raws) and I really like the idea of practicing safe fall by jumping off the griffin

I know I ask this newbie question prior to every LU but, where can I find the release notes? While in work I mean.

- There is now an option to pop up a confirmation box when making expensive purchases from the Broker window.A bit late for me but glad it is in there for others. Accidently spent 3.5 plat on an overchaged cobalt Vanguard armor piece that I can't even use, doh. I guess I will have a happy guildie.

I'm pretty dang excited about the test server notes!! Everything sounds great! Yay for griffin/carpet diving! I totally missed the automatic ammo loading, though. lol - I hope that works for summoned arrows as well!!

Will be cool that they are implementing the raid stuff too! No more 'x drop group and join group 3, please'. That will save a ton of time on raid set up. =)

YAY for the Norrathian Express expanding it's boundaries! Will make doing business with my FP clients a LOT easier!!!

I hope they implement these somewhat soon rather than waiting for KoS...

Yeah, looked over those earlier today, definitely some great changes coming in. The griff / carpet jumping is gonna be excellent, especially for those of us with Safe Fall. Woot, very glad I've gone out of my way to keep that skill up as I leveled - it's not maxed, but it's over 200 at least. That's usually enough to keep me alive from cliff jumps by SS beach, and the griffons / carpets don't go THAT high, I don't think. We'll find out shortly.

The only reason I'm hesitant about LU19 is the changes to Darathar. The guild is slowly working its way through Deception, and we may not be ready for him before that... but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Is his reset thing still bugged? If so, might be best to wait until after the LU, even though he's supposed to be a bit more challenging (and getting to him will no longer be as easy as invis'ing the raid.)

Thanks very much, Cat. We've been discussing this in guild forums and your advice may well tip the balance in favor of waiting for the LU. I'd heard that the Elemental Remedy was a must-have, and we'll be working on getting our heat resist gear in the meantime. You rock, thanks again for the tips.

One thing we've found is that if there are DoT's on Darathar when he is suppose to fly away he won't fly off, but will continue fighting you. We've had fights go where he gets down to 25%, stuns us and flies off, comes back and then we kill him for the updates. Cat is right though, for people just trying it, or those not 55+, fire resist gear helps a ton, plus the old "group cure" folks for his dot.

Only place I know (don't have DoF yet) that is a higher base jump than N'Mar in Nek is when the griff swoops OVER N'Mar in Nek! I'm gonna fly!Is it not a little worrying that the most talked about thing on the new LU is jumping off griffs? :smileytongue:

One thing I forgot to mention regarding the option of letting the raid force wipe if Darathar doesn't fly away...it is imperative that you have a monk or SK who can FD. If someone has to revive and run back to start getting the raid back on their feet(or if the whole raid revives), you will most likely not be back before Darathar gets back to his perch. And I apologize for derailing the thread even further, but doesn't Kaeros' new sig look awesome!!!
