PVP!

<div></div>I'm really excited about PVP coming out and have been trying to decide whether I want to start another ranger when I move to a PVP server.  I'm curious how many other rangers out there are excited about starting on a PVP server too.  Will you be moving to a PVP server and if so will you be sticking with a ranger?<div></div>

If I were just starting out in the game, I'd probably want to do it on one of the upcoming PvP servers.  But I'm strongly invested in my character, guild, and community now - I couldn't give them up.  Maybe I'll try starting an alt, but I doubt that'll work out.  From what I've seen of PvP servers, it's essential to have a guild or circle of friends, and I would have tough splitting my time and attention between two communities.<div></div>

I guess I'm lucky.  It looks like a large portion, if not all, of our guild is going to transfer and some people that had quit will even be coming back for pvp.  I can certainly understand not wanting to leave things behind though.  Leaving my character behind and starting over from scratch is not something I am particularly looking forward to.  I'm also going to miss all the items that can't be replaced that I'll be losing in the move.  I really like the some of the items that I've gotten during the events and those will be gone for good.  I just finished my musicbox collection yesterday and I'm going to be giving them up in another month. : (  I guess the hardest part for me is all the stuff I can't replace that will be left behind since it looks like all my close friends will be moving too.I really hope that rangers aren't the most popular pvp class!  It had never even crossed my mind before, but I'll be dissappointed if that's the case.  I don't really see why that would be.  The classes seemed balanced enough to me that I think there we'll be a fairly even distribution between the popular classes.  Then again, I don't have a lot of experience playing anything other than a ranger.<div></div>
