Where do i get my lvl 51+ spells

I dinged lvl 51 recently (53 now) and i am having trouble locating my spells. I am not aligned with any DOF faction (close to ally with  court of the coin though), and was told i could find my spells at the golder sceptre until then. Problem is that i can only find dirge blade for sale and no one sells what i need at the brokers. I have checked the lower floor and no luck and dont see a vendor on the 2nd floor. <div></div>No, it sounds like you have all the info... I don't know who sells what in the Golden Sceptre as I just bought my 51+ spells at Adept I even after I had Truth faction. For now I'd get your Coin faction up so you can buy from the merchants inside the court. Good luck.

If it is an issue of not having the spells at all, I'd probaly go to a friendly jeweler and order a bulk app IV order.

Are Ranger spells only for slae in Coin court or can you get them in Truth or the other courts as well?Buaf<div></div>

Not to beat a dead horse (well too much anyway) but after recently obtaining one of the 50+ Ranger CAs (Dire Blade) from the Truth faction court, I happily went to a broker to try to purchase an Adept 1...And the lowest priced one was 47 gold! That's right, for an Adept...1.This is on Guk server, not sure what the other server economies are like but needless to say I'm happily using the Apprentice 1 version at the moment. I have gold in the bank but not so much I can just drop half a plat at leisure on Ranger Adept 1s.My question to the rest of you who are 50+ is, how are you getting these? Not Adept 3s or Masters, but just your Adept 1 Ranger CAs for Tier 6? Just curious...<div></div>

<div></div>I bought almost all my Adept 1s on the broker, and I never pay more than 20gp. I just don't buy them if all I see are priced at 40+ gold. I wait and buy it when I see one for a reasonable price. I browse the broker every time I'm logged in, and I used some skills at App1 or App2 for a while until I found an Adept. I also buy them ahead of time if I find one I'll need at a decent price - back when I was 52, I probably had 6-8 Adept 1s sitting in my bank, b/c I bought them when they were available for 10-15gp. Maybe BB's economy is better or we just have more ranger adepts, but I didn't have that much of a problem finding my upgrades. Good luck...

I finally got enough faction to get in the Court of the coin. I can not find thorny trap for sale on any of the merchants. There is 1 person selling it via broker but there is no way im paying 53 gp for it.<div></div>

According to the EQ2Players database, Thorny Trap exists only as Adept1, Adept3, and Master1; there are no Apprentice versions.  Since there are no player-made Apprentice4's to compete with, I'm betting that it's going to cost you an arm and a leg no matter how you get one.  (Unless the drop rate is surprisingly high, anway.)That seems to be the trend for all of the Ancient Teachings arts.(I had asked a similar question, from an alchemist's perspective, <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=a13&message.id=8595#M8595" target="_blank">in this thread</a> a little while ago.)<div></div>

Riddick, if you have a rare, you can probably find a jeweler to make Thorny Trap for you for a reasonable rate.  If you are on Innothule server, I have an alt that is a level 60 jeweler and would be willing to help a fellow ranger out.<div></div>

<div></div>I dunno Shader, I picked up Adept 1 of Thorny Trap for about 12g, IIRC... you just gotta keep your eyes open, I guess.
