In the past I played a Guardian and had no reason to want to check my dps.Now that Im a 40 Ranger and I read about the dps numbers my fellow Rangers have, Im interested in getting my own stats. I am curious as to what parser most people use. Recomendations are greatly aprreciated. Buaf 41 Ranger Faydark <div></div>

In my guild, most parser folks use Combatstats. Some use Advanced Combat Tracker. There is also a parser that will be charging as of January I think, though I do not recall it's name. Parsemania is another that I don't know much about, but you can google it. EQCompanion and the discontinued Statalyzer still work.So many choices, though I really am not sure which is top.Merkades.

I like CombatStats, but it's kind of been abandoned. You can still find copies around though.<div></div>

If it works as advertised, it does pretty much everything that all of the other parsers do and more.So you can throw out Combatstats, Parsemania, EQCompanion and Statalyzer. http://home.maine.rr.com/eqaditu/ACT/</pre><p>Message Edited by XBrit on <span class=date_text>12-30-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:10 PM</span>
<DIV>I use the Advanced Combat Tracker ( ACT ).....nothing else like it. Truly the best parser I have seen thus far.</DIV>

Wow, ACT looks great. I love the in-game display even when using full screen.<div></div>

<P>Ya, I just got ACT the other day. I really like it, it says how much DPS the mob is doing and how much your entire guild does, etc, etc. Sad though at times in a raid of 24 I would do 1/5th the total raid DPS, lol. Darn slackers, lol. Oh well. But ya it's awesome.</P> <P>Leoric<BR>Level 60 ranger</P>
ok, i'm a parser noob. I downloaded ACT and used it the other day when we were in silent city. There were 2 things i wanted to do, but couldn't. First, I would love to figure out how to add the mob's DPS into what I paste into the game. Second, the coercer charmed one of the tree's in the back of silent city and made that a pet. It broke ones and had some dot on it, from that point on I could never get real parses because it kept breaking breaking the parse encounter all through the fights (ie, it was saying i had 0 dps when I had just used stream of arrows). Does anyone know a way to remove people from the parse list, or just include specific people, or your group only?

Supposedly ACT has inaccurate data and some bugs. When its working perfectly it will be the best one by far, but until then the newest version of combat stats is probably the best bet.<div></div>
