so whats the deal between armor types, very light, light, medium, heavy...and all that. And how do the choices come into play when we talk about rangers?<div></div>

<DIV>Rangers are limited to Medium armor (chainmail) or lower. Rangers typically go for attributes that increase thier Agility & strength. The higher the armor type usually means a higher mitigation (the amount of damage absorbed or deflected by the armor) This is why you see Tanks in heavy armor, they are one who take the damage in a group fight. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I by no means am a expert on this, so check the forum for other threads. I am sure its been covered in the past.</DIV>

<P>This has been a large debate for quite some time it seems.  Me and another ranger in my guild have different view points regarding armor.  My armor is mainly chain with some leather, mainly working on maxing out my attributes.  While my guildy's is a complete set of cobalt chain, so he can have higher mitigation.  His argument is so if/when he draws agro he can sustain the hits.  My argument is, the better attributes I have the more DPS I can dish out in a fight.  But its really however you want to play your character.  Hope this helps! :smileyhappy:</P> <P> </P> <P>Askol ~ 60 Ranger</P> <P>Lucan D'Lere</P>
