Pretty harsh dropping the MIT down so much.  You can't really Range(r) too much at the levels you use the armor at so you will be really badly hurt by that.  Other stats seem quite nice. IMO it looks much better. <div></div>

That is some ugly mess. And deffinately a half as$ed job. Looks the same except the tradesman tunic from the island and the tradesman boots. Thats just sad. I was really looking for ward to the new armor too. I am lvl 50 and would have bought some just for looks...but eeew. Looks like crap

On my female wood elf it had the similar overall graphic to some armors around that level, but it was some ugly sort of alternating stripes of different shades of green.  I immediately ran to the nearest merchant and got my copper back for it. <div></div>

i dont mind it at all..  i think the upgrades to the AQ armor are nice right across the board.. I have 10 alts.. only ever did the AQ thing with 2.. my original Zerker (who is 28 - been 28 since i rolled a Ranger.. lol) and this toon.. my Ranger..All my others have been in twinked player made .. but I think i will do the AQ's with them all .<div></div>

Mort, im sure you guys dont intentionally make bad armor choices (refugee tunic for druids instead of a new one or variation of wild wood?) but something is highly wrong when theres such lack of newness, all this retinting is an effort but not a big one at all, I really hope you guys are working on interviewing more artists and raising a fund to get them because it could make your game 1000x better,. Poor diversity and ugly armor and almost no clothing are killing the ultimate feel and experience you should have playing a game with beautifully rendered zones and a feel of fantasy  in alot except characters, who are most important but look like crap and all look the same because of limited armor and clothing.  Please redesign the way you do this, youve had  a year and you couldnt give us one robe and since you couldnt you now say, "VLA and LA is working as intended" so its drab dull and unappealing to thousands on purpose? I see no sense in such and think Moorgard shouldnt be taking such an uncaring and lazy attitude.  Im playing less and less, I think I might even give WoW a try for christmas, even though I hate the cartoon look, its got more style and art effort and it feels alive. <div></div>

Add a little more str and/or split that 100 vs magic into 50 vs magic and 50 vs cold/heat/whatever. Sure there are some crafted and dropped pieces around that level that is better than the AQs. Beefing up the old gear could bring more appeal to the quests.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The last bit that I had to offer was that there doesn't seem to be enough class specific quested items throughout the levels. There is tons of gear which is nice, sure not all are "uberific", but there is lots of variety. I guess what I'm missing is the old EQ1 Velious quested gear based on faction alignment. That's something that could be done with the 3 Court factions in DoF. My swashy is only 52 with amiable faction so maybe I just haven't seen it yet. It was just nice to go hunting around ToV or Kael and end up with a piece of armor that was geared towards your class.</DIV>

The look is a far and away improvement over the nasty green color of the previously 'updated' trade link. However, much like some others have said, the bits that look like leather look VERY out of place in the suit, particularly the boots and tunic.  I'd think it'd look much much better with boots that looked like green DWB and a tunic in the style of the manifested terror stuff.

I like the looks better imo, though it's not nearly as cool looking as plate armor, but I guess you can't really expect that
