View Full Version : web site for eq2 rangers?

I was sneaking around the safe house today and noticed that they seem to have adopted assassins but dont really consider rangers one of their kind. *shrug* Any way so I went looking around for a ranger site and when I found the ranger's glen turns out it has a very small section with one thread (thats not new) for eq2 . Sooo anyone know of a ranger site that has enough eq2 in it to be with bookmarking and joining? Or ... Anyone want to start one up?

Other resources are of course the eq2 forums, thesafehouse.org has an eq2 forum for rogues/scouts and don't forget eq2 vault, ogaming and the other big sites have forums as well.

Like I said the site will be up through the end of the month but will close down going into the new year.

Thanks again
Khaly

Message Edited by Dasanhgul on 12-16-2005 11:19 AM

Honestly, best place I have seen lately for info on rangers is the world ranger channel started by Kaeros on butcherblock.

/join Butcherblock.WorldRanger

A lot of the familiar names from on here are in that channel nightly. I know I've been using it to bleed info out of Leoric and some of the others on raid targets and the like. Great place for info and you don't have to leave game to use it.

Ya, it's a great channel. I prefer it over the original one that began on Guk. Demlar almost has me tapped out but I think I hve some back up knowledge left :0) ..lol

Leoric
Level 60 ranger

I actually checked on the availability of the EQ2Ranger.com domain a month or two ago, and it's open. But I'm not a web guru, just a
writer who moonlights as a ranger, and I don't think I could put together a comprehensive EQ2 ranger site on my own. I'm willing to just use the tools we have here and in-game for now, but I'd be happy to help in additional efforts.

is there enough interest in a ranger forum ?hosting/creating forums is a hobby of mine .. i run tamparacing.com tampaforums.com and lately (work in progress) eq2raiders.comI'd be willing to host/run a ranger forum as long as I had some people to populate it with the correct content and perhaps assist with the design.edit : i'm fine with registering something like eq2scouts.org if people would use it.

Message Edited by Sirlutt on 12-16-2005 02:05 PM

Well, that's the thing... we HAVE a forum, this one, and I don't really want to abandon it just to go elswhere and reform a smaller, more insular community. I like what we've got going here, and a lot of us have put many months into strengthening the community that exists around this forum, so it'd be a shame to start over. The site itself w/b kinda helpful for hosting FAQs and such, but I'd kinda like us to just stick with what we have here, now.
