<DIV>Greetings.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am a lower level ranger (24 to be exact) and i recently came back to the game after a few months off. The first thing i noticed is that we now have quivers!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I searched the broker and found a few quivers for around 50g. Now, before the combat changes .. i did manage to farm a few heroic named and make just over 1pp, so this would take a good piece of my money.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question is this: Are quivers worth the money? and how much do they cost on your servers?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV>

Is that a legendary quiver - it is made out of a rare. IMHO, it is not worth it to use a rare to make a quiver. Use the common harvest and you will save money. 50g for a quiver at level 24 sounds ridiculous. I am 56 and I bought a common quiver (Stonehide) i believe it has 18 slots in it and I payed just around 1-2 g for it. At level 24, you should be paying 15-30s for a common quiver like the other poster said. A rare quiver lets you hold a couple of more stacks of arrows but for the increased cost and at your level it is not worth it.

I agree half a plat for a quiver is way too much.  I am 28 now and I bought a 10 slot quiver when I first started for about 1-2gp.  More than enough.  Since I am using Makeshift Arrow (Adept3) it stays full and one bag is for overflow.  I would save your money and apply it to a really good bow - now that makes a world of difference.

I'm actually in the same boat as you.  I just took 6 months off and started up again and I noticed the quivers as well.  I recently bought a 10 slot quiver, however,  for less than 1g.  So i suggest you go to the very end of your search or cap the max price at 5g.  I guarantee you'll find a nice quiver in the 1-5g range.

I believe quivers are just like bags and boxes and have no level requirement, so you could buy a stonehide (t6 common pelt) quiver for around 10g and have 18 slots to play with. Do not pay 50g at all, I'd aim for 10 or lower.

<P>     By all means get a quiver but buy a low end one all you want is some place to store arrows. I did with out one and was always forgetting to load up into my ammo slot. Running out of arrow at the wrong time was a pain.. With several stacks in yur quiver thats not a worry unless you forget to reload the quiver. I use make shift adt 1 got it off a player in TS the other day then went out and bought several stacks of cheap arrows to tide me over untill I build up a ready supply no I don't buy any and always have nore than I can use.</P> <P>Agij</P> <P>24 Kitty Ranger</P> <P>Officer in Wolves of Norrath</P> <P>Oggok sever</P>

Uhh... noway in hell should you spand 50gp for a quiver. Buy some common quiver (not legendary) 10 slots or so, they help too... and are (or should be) around 10gp and cheaper...++Xan<div></div>

<DIV>On runney eye server, you can buy superb quality pelts for around 10-12g on an evening, these are T5 rares and so much cheaper than t6 so a better buy when it comes to a quiver.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Not sure if its the same on most servers but if you buy one of these and get a tailor to make it for you you can have an 18slot quiver for very little cash really.  NOt sure what server your on but if its on runney-eye the send me a message (adpowers) and ill make you one for free, if you get the rare.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ive made these for all the rangers in my guild, gotta look after the rangers <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by ADPowers on <span class=date_text>12-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:39 AM</span>
