<DIV>I'm just curious to see how many of you..like me..are at work everyday surfing the Ranger forums, getting your fix, as you wait to get home so you can get back to killing big bad uglies?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm so glad I found that I have access to the Ranger forums from work (silly firewalls :smileytongue:  ). I have learned so much from all of you...and continue to learn more daily.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/ranger_forum_hug</DIV>

<P>Awww, how sweet are you?</P> <P>Anyway... /meekly_raises_hand</P> <P>Guilty as charged. I'm not keeping up like I used to (we're busier here at work) but today for some reason I just can't motivate myself and my mind keeps wandering. So I goof off with you guys instead of producing my usual highly compelling software documentation. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

Well I've been off work since the 16th of November due to spinal cord surgery, but when I was at work I did indeed browse there and plan out what I wanted to do that night.  Didn't always include my ranger though, cause I have alt-and-tradeskill-itis <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>I'm too busy at work to even think of doing something non-work related.  I usually browse the forums for about an hour after I come home while the news is on tv, then play eq for a couple of hours.  I don't play everyday, but usually about four times a week (including weekends).  Just too many other things that have to get done around the house.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>EQ1 was different for me.  For several years, I played that game every waking moment.  To this day, I still like EQ1 the most.  It's just that my server has become a ghost town, even after the server mergers.</DIV>

Yep. Me too. I peruse the forums, look at info on quests etc, check guild forums - all from work at quiet times.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<P>As I sit here at work.. (lol).. I have the biggest grin on my face! I browse the Ranger forum and guild forum everyday at work during slow/break times. It's nice to know I'm not the only one sneaking in my EQ2 fix while at work. :smileyvery-happy:</P> <P>You guys are great!</P>

<DIV>Guilty as charged.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Like others have reported, it just depends on how busy I am at work.   I've learned that when it's time to estimate how long it will take me to complete a project, I usually consider how long it will actually take me, and then at least triple that number.  That gives me plenty of slack to get my work done and still surf the boards.  I can't tell you how many times I've told my boss that it will take me a few days to make a software change, which in fact took 15 minutes.  muah ahhaha hahah ahaha.</DIV>

I can top all of you, I *play* EQ2 at work. It doesn't matter that I've been there for 12+ hours and my boss plays Quake while I am playing EQ.  I still do it! <div></div>

Oh, I wish I had time to browse forums at work.  :smileysad:  I only get to check out the info here during server downtimes in the morning, because any other time I would have to browse is taken up by plucking many mobs with many arrows and making them die!

I really need a mental health day after this week's release... for some reason playing EQ at home during the day is especially satisfying, and coordinating those days off with my honey makes them even better. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I'm so right there with Meerosh.  Application Analyst here and I just have to make sure my app stays up and running so most the time I am on the Forums.  My main is a level 50 ranger but I ahve an assassin alt so I bounce between the two boards.  I play as much as i can wehn i get home, but most the time I still spend with the wife and kids.

Browsing the Ranger forums at lunch time (or any other time that I get a few minutes) is my 2nd favorite pastime (Playing EQ2 is my first one, in case you're wondering.) <BLOCKQUOTE> <P></P> <HR> Jay42 wrote:<BR> <P>Guilty as charged. Hey Vimy, your FAQ was not silly at all, it was very nice! I posted some comments regarding it, but they are mostly just personal opinions than any _facts_. Good work anyway! <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span> ++Xan <div></div>

<DIV>Hahaha, yeah Vimy, I had to laugh at the timing. If it's okay with you, I'll probably incorporate some of the info you posted into mine... but like I said, this is a ways off. I just don't have time to do too much extracurricular ranger work for the next month or two. But I think yours is great, and applaud the effort and the contribution. Thanks much.  </DIV>
