<DIV>I'm relatively new to any sort of damage immune creatures but our guild has just started hitting heritages etc and I've come a cropper a couple of times now. Does anyone have any advice as to the creatures we're likely to face that might be immune to damage types. I'm the main DPS in our status/heritage hunting groups so I really want to be prepared.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(Yes I know its probably more appropriate to the quest forum but things are a bit ugly out there atm so i'd prefer my fellow ranger perspective. :smileywink: )</DIV>

<font size="2">I know a couple of the heritage mobs have immunities, but for the life of me the only one I can remember is Varsoon. He is immune to pierce, while the lamia that precedes him in the ring event is immune to slash....at least that's how it was the last time I had to fight him. It's been a long time since I've had to work on any old world heritages, however. So it could have changed. </font><div></div>
<DIV>Hmm, I thought they were both immune to piercing? But my memory it faulty and these things have changed since I last did them, unfortunately. Making the HQ trek with a new group of guild alts, though, so I'm sure I'll start remembering these things pretty soon...just a question of how many dirt naps it takes to jog that memory. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

Darathar (epic x4 for Deception) is immune to piercing and sub-legendary weapons. Meathooks (epic x3 in SS) is immune to poison. <div></div>

<P>Eyeball in MoM is pierce immune</P> <P>Robot guy in MoM is slash immune</P> <P>Think Vaz'gok was pierce immune but it's been awhile and I could be off on this one.</P> <P>Tobias listed the only other two I can remember off the top of my head.</P> <P> </P>

Well we ended up doing 3 heritages on saturday - quite amusingly the monk, guardian, templar, swashbuckler and ranger group did really well. Admittedly it took us 3 attempts on the 40^^^ but as it spawned on top of us the first time and our highest level was 37th we were quite happy. Nicely exhilarating and we made over a level for the guild in one day. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Varsoon I remember people commenting on before and we went in expecting real trouble as only the guardian and I had legendary weapons (shiny brass halberd and my feysteel leafblade/crescent axe/blood??? bow). Had no trouble at all landing on anything myself with either pierce or slash and no one else reported a problem even though we anticipated it. That said the others controlled the aggro and pace of the fights perfectly so I only ever had to go melee once and the rest of the time I was unleashing the sort of damage that makes me proud to be playing a ranger. :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wondering if the RoV revamp of a couple of days ago changed their immunities?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I know for a fact that Varsoon and the mob preceding him had damage immunities, so maybe they've been removed since I was there last.<BR>
