New player--need help with Freeport Betrayal

<DIV>I started a dark elf with the intention of being a ranger.  Being completely new to the game I didn't realize I had to betray Freeport to accomplish this.  Anyway, I am now level 18 and can only get the quest up to level 17.  Does this mean I either have to a) reroll b) become an assassin c) quit?  Are these my only options now?  Any help appreciated <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<P>To the best of my Knowledge you get 2 choices either become an assassin or delete your char and start over. The quest can be started at lvl 14 and you max your lvl out at 17 until completed. Sorry for the bad news.</P> <P>Chappy</P>

Those first 15 levels will go pretty quickly, especially now that you're a bit more familiar with the game. Betrayal isn't so much difficult as just time-consuming, these days, but it'll be necessary if you're married to the dark elf idea. Good luck!</DIV>
