Level 30 when you can get an Pristine Imbued Oak Longbow.   With proc it is much better.   Good luck!!

Aye, as a ranger, your bow is your highest priority. Harvest for those rare severed wood pieces all you can. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But if you don't have the time or inclination, Stormfire will last much longer than just level 30 - you can't even equip it til 28, IIRC. I personally used Stormfire up until about 33 or 34, whenever I switched to Bloodlet (a possible quest reward from the DFC access quest in Zek). But this was before imbues, so crafted items weren't so markedly superior. (Which, incidentally, I don't really like. It's too easy to just stock up on imbued crafted gear that outclasses almost all dropped stuff outside of rare Fabled or Legendary items.)

<P>I used my Stormfire into my 40s.  I know I should have gone with the Oak, but I worked so hard for my Stormfire, I couldn't part with it.  I did get a imbued Cedar Long bow as a replacement.  I kinda skipped over the Bloodlet bow, but I do have one now.</P> <P>I wish I could mount my Stormfire and Bloodlet bows on the wall.  That'd be sweet!</P>

<DIV>I used the fabled Longbow of the Warmaster up until I got the cedar longbow at 40.  Kick [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] bow, that drops off named epic orc that patrols road to the west in Zek.  I remember getting a few other nice bows, like bloodlet and stormfire, but the warmaster was superior.  Wish I still had it b/c I'd post the stats.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I should say we killed that named orc about 50 times and I only saw the bow drop once, and was lucky enough to win the lotto for it.</DIV>
