This is to all of the people on the world ranger chat last night. I apologize to everyone that I was arguing with someone in chat. I wholeheartedly apologize to the person I was arguing with. Sometimes, a person will be defensive if something is not percieved the way a person intended. When I was in chat someone said something to me that put me on the defensive for no reason. For that I am sorry. I hate arguing for no good reason and last night there was no good reason. I could give some excuses as to why I was so sensitive at that moment and ready to fight...but in the end what does it matter? No excuse for it. I left the chat last night because I saw myself arguing with the very people I commend on level headedness.

It happens. I'm not sure if I was the person you were argueing with or not, as there were 3 of us in the "discussion." I'm fine with it all though, biggest thing I'm wondering about was were you able to find the file and delete it so you can get /claim working for you.

Good on you, Sai, I appreciate it - I know you're a great guy and don't hold anything against you or anyone else personally. I don't even know what the argument was about, or who it was with. I was coordinating a Naggy run and working with a crafter to get some upgrades made so I wasn't paying attention until some harsh words pierced my awareness and made me ask what the heck all the commotion was about. It's disappointing to see that kind of thing, but it's inevitable that ppl are going to occasionally bicker and feel some friction. What will set our community apart is how we deal with that friction as a group. We've managed to have one of the most positive class forums for over six months now, so I'm confident we can preserve those same standards in the channel.

All I ask (and this is in general, not directed at this situation or any one person) is that if we do have disagreements in a group discussion, that we keep it civil and mature. If you can't, please take it to tells - you don't need an audience and you're just going to lose the respect of your fellow rangers by having one.

Kudos to you for being mature enough to own up. In the long run, this is water under the bridge, and I look forward to chatting with all of you more soon. See you in the channel.

I did get it to work, but removed the UI rather than delete anything....if they dont update the custom UI when a LU comes out then it is not worth it for me to have those headaches. I am not opposed to custom UI's but things go bad when they are not readily updating them as the one I had. It was a minor disagreement made worse by my defensive nature that night. Atriel ( I believe that was her/his name)was right to a degree. I proved her/his point entirely and made an [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] out of myself in the process. Anyway, thanks Jay thanks Demlar. I appreciate the good words.

I wasn't in chat last night so I don't know the argument, but it seems to me it's not that you argued that's important, it's how you've handled it. We're all going to get a little hot sometimes, but you've apologized and that's that I would think. Displaying yourself in a mature manner like this will earn you more "look the other ways" in the future, too
