<div></div>Hey all, I'm a 47 ranger at the moment, grinding and questing my way to 50, I like to get new equipment every 10 levels or so and since the last time I upgraded was at 40, to the player imbued stuff, I was wondering what you all suggested for gear at 50? I like to start shoppin' early, so I can get the best buy... I like to group more then solo, but Like to be able to solo non heroic greens for some loose end quests etc... Any advice would be appreciated, looking for info on armor mostly, but weapons and jewelry is also welcome! Thanks! hope to hear form you soon. I personally found it easier to solo with a shield.......

As a ranger, remember that we are a delicate balance between agility, and strength.  Alot of people here have respec'd back to choose str options instead of agility ones just for the added damage.  Every piece of armor i have on has a strength bonus to it, and although its not 300+ like some others, its evened with my agility for the most part.  That being said, i'd look around for the armor which fits these two profiles, wether chain or leather.  Cobalt of course would be a good choice on alot of this.  Mitigation is more of a personal preference. <div></div>

Aye I've come to find that mitigation is a more reliable friend.  Though I may be bias because usually I either am in no danger whatsoever of being hit or when I am I am getting hit regardless because I always have my offensive stance up.  Time and time again I never use my defensive stance unless I'm in a group.  Soloing I've found trying to approach a situation with defensive buff up usually gets me killed because without the dmg and extra offensive boost I can't outlast the mob, but with offensive up I can usually figure out a way between our Root Trap, snares, terrain, opening shot ability choice, and well just general other tweaks and tunes to get the mob dead and me not.  Mitigation favors my approach because 1 it is a set guaranteed reduction and 2 if I am in range of being hit I'm gonna get hit so I might as well take as little as possible.  Oh and t6 leather still looks like t5 leather or imo it looks like crap lol.
