Ranger skills

I don't know how it is on other servers, but on mine Ranger skills just seem really expensive.  I've had t3 adept I's for sale for at least a couple of weeks for a quarter to half the cost of what the Ranger skills go for (I've had skills listed for 1-2g) and maybe sold one after I cut the price to 1g.  Are Ranger adept skills in general more expensive? Also, I rarely see a Ranger adept skill drop.  Is this the norm or am I just having bad luck with drops? <div></div>

It's not just you with the drops - I have a Predator and a Conjuror and I've never seen a drop for the Conjuror (and her lvl is up near 30) and I've only ever seen one for the Pred.  It's the same in Guild Bank - everything is for Brawlers and Druids it seems to me. <div></div>

Having played my ranger almost exclusively up to 42nd level...I can say this: I have never seen a master chest I have only had one drop that was a spell I could use....(although it was a lower level spell and I would not actually make use of it). I had only one crafting book drop that I could use till SOE came out with splitpaw....now I have every crafting book I need up to level 45 (minus the vendor sold ones) I have never had a counter while crafting result in a rare item (heck not even a common item) I have harvested probably a dozen rares. I try not to think about it too much....considering I have raided and grouped several times....I would be upset if I thought too much on it. I also try not to think about the fact that my RL roommate plays when he has the time...i.e. I am not in front of the computer <span>:smileytongue:</span> and he recieved a master chest his first week into the game  <span>:smileymad:</span> I try not to think about these things...cause I get angry    <span>:smileysurprised:</span> <div></div>

I know we've gone a little off topic here, but is it me or are most drops for Brawlers and Bards? Saying that, me and a Wizard mate teamed up last night and we got a spell and a recipe book off first group that was useful  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  (although the loot lotto gave each item to the wrong person so we had to trade :p) <div></div>

The only ranger drop I have found was Hunter's Instinct Apedt 1. What was cool is that I found it a few minutes before I dinged the level where I got that CA. If you are on Antonia Bayle, I will create app 4s and I charge an extremely fair price. I currently can create t1 and t2 runes including adept 3s. You will need to have the rare for the adept 3 though. I have found that rangers art runes sell extremely quickly on Antonia Bayle. Send an ingame mail to Paully if you would like to purchase some runes or jewelry.

<DIV>Well, I've *gotten* a lot of Ranger Adept 1s but I didn't find most of them myself. I've seen several ranger Adepts drop in my time, some of which I could use, but most of mine have come from friends who gave them to me. I'd encourage you to give the off-class Adepts you do find to your friends and guildmates, and just ask them to keep an eye out for ranger ones. I've gotten probably 10-12 as presents from people that see ranger skills and think of me. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

Has anyone noticed a higher price on Ranger adepts at the broker?  8+ gold for Stalk (Adept I) seems a bit high to me... <p></p>

<P>Yeah, that's overpriced. A lot of people seem to be charging ripoff prices for Adept drops that just aren't that great. Stalk is one of the most common ranger drops out there, who would bother paying 8g for it??</P> <P>I've probably spent too much on T6 Adepts already, but I tend to buy them when I see them on the market, just so they're ready and waiting by the time I earn that particular CA.
