Was grouped with a zerker last night.  Every time he started the HO, I added one of my flashing icons. When the second stage of the wheel started, the only option it gave me was a stealth option.  This, of course, is not allowed in combat.  So we waited until the wheel ended.  Every time this happened, there was nothing I could do to help it.  I used my other attacks that put me in stealth, but to no avail.  I tried every skill I could think of, but nothing would flash except the "stealth" or "hunt".  I forget the exact names. Any idea why a non combat skill is flashing in combat? Please help. BTW level 21 Ranger here. <div></div>

<DIV>Im sure others will reply to this in a better way than I did, but u can enter sneak/stealth in combat. that is no problem. just use that ones that u must aply from flank or behind enemy. that will put u in stealth mode an u can finish off with any stealth attack u got.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Pouncing Attack would be one of the attacks that puts u in stealth mode. Then u can follow up with Crippling blade or some Ranged attack.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Rikare on <span class=date_text>10-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:28 AM</span>

Trying to remember what other spells have the mask icon in the description but cant remember now, think it may be your AGI buffs and pathfinding can be used but cant be sure.

Both sneak and hunt can be applied in combat.  Also hunters instinct used to flash on those as well - I'll have to check when I get home from work.  <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>[Edit] - yep sneak, hunt, hunters instinct, and pathfinding  are all mask skills and as such will complete that HO you were talking about - and yes you can use sneak and hunt in combat.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Vyaelin on <span class=date_text>10-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:22 PM</span>

Again, thank you all for the help, and showing me again that the only stupid question is the one you dont ask.</span><div></div>

After LU#13 I almost got my hot bars down to 3...still use 4 though. They come in handy when you don't feel like digging for stuff all over the place.

Have a few other bars filled with some extra stuff, but nothing major needed in the heat of battle... nothing that cant be quickly solved with a shift-4 or shift-5 :smileyhappy:
