<DIV>I hope Sony is listening, because this is driving me nuts!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why is it that Rangers (and all poison using classes I assume) seem to be the only classes with something to lose during PvP?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I pay 7-25 gold for a poison with 7 charges.  If I die in PvP the poison charges go bye bye.  That gets real expensive in a hurry if I'm trying to find a way to beat a class that keeps killing me (ie bruisers atm).  I dont have the luxury of fighting them over and over trying to find a combo that works, or a weakness that I can exploit.  Every death is costing me about 2-5g, and that's only if I'm running 2 out of 3 poisons (damage and regular debuff).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just don't think this is fair and I knew this would be a good place to come and whine about it.  So waaaaaaaaaaah!!  Mommy they aren't playing fair!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sony, if you were smart enough to make PvP a risk free form of entertainment... no debt, no risk of dropping items, etc....  then why did you overlook the poison classes?  I don't want the poisons to last forever, just keep it running until it runs out of procs!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Am I overlooking something here myself?  What are the other classes risking?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<font size="2">That doesn't happen just in PvP...it happens upon any death...and many rangers(incuding myself) have /bugged it to no avail. </font><div></div>

<P>Rangers die?  Are you kidding?  H3ll no!  Well... there is this one bruiser... hehe.  He's got several levels on me and just rips me a new one every time.  I'm only level 51 (50 the last time I fought anyone in pvp).  And I don't think many rangers can stand up to a level 56 SK who's using HT.  Maybe if I get a few more levels... maybe if I gear up the right resists...  I dont' know.  I can't afford to experiment.  This is why I've been reduced to forum whiner.  I want to be able to take every class in the game regardless of level at 51.  Is that too much to ask?</P> <P> </P>

<P>We rock in PvP... no question about that... but <STRONG>poisons should not disappear on death, period.</STRONG> </P> <P>Nourishment doesn't disappear from my stomach, why does a viscous fluid disappear from my weapons?!? Some kind of chemical reaction caused by the afterlife express? </P> <P>/Bug, /Bug, /Bug... they'll fix it eventually.</P>

<DIV>Amen, Jay. And I'll be feedbacking that next time I'm in game. I just figured it was something that was "working as intended"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course for me it's just an annoyance rather than high cost. My druid alt is an alchemist. Still not something we should lost on death, though.</DIV>

<DIV>It really irks me that this is still a problem.  It would have been a very simple thing to apply the same code used on the food a few patches back to the poison and voila!  No more poofing poison on death.  SOE either a) really screwed the pooch by forgetting to  do the food and poison at the same time, or b) intentionally left the poison as it is becuase they do not intend to change the poison death-poof. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Obviously, I'm hoping option "a" is true.  I'd rather be screwed temporarily by an omission than screwed permenantly by a really really bad decision.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Yar 100% agree, if its risk free entertainment, then our poisons should not poof.  I have noticed that ring buffs/buff potions do not food does not, but regular buffs such as shroud arrow flurry primal and  poisons do.  I just have an issue with poisons dropping in pvp cus i pvp alot, but none the less i win 9 outta 10 times.  Its the loss of a poison that motivates me to win these days =P

<P>Ah so there is a reason to want to win?;P</P> <P>Maybe if you didnt loose anything by dying in a duel you probl would think after a while, boooring lets go mine rares instead that is real rare;P</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P>Hehe teasing a little but the human mind mostly works like that and soe knows it I think.</P>

I may be wrong but I notced tonight through duels and deaths I gained my poison charge back everytime. Maybe SoE stealth changed it? <div></div>

<DIV>That's awesome Nirran, I hope you're right.  I can't wait to test this when I get home.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance SOE!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Aside from poison charge issues, I must say, that I LOVE the PvP in this game.  Finally something to do while we sit around the campfire waiting for Mr. Named to make an appearance.  I hope there's a point when 2 groups can attack each other.  This would make raid campouts a freekin blast!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Hmm. I'll be interested to see if poisons no longer disappear on death over the weekend. Here's hoping...</P>

<DIV>Just use the arena.</DIV> <DIV>ANy poison charge you use within the arena is returned once you exit the arena...</DIV>

Well this is still not fixed.  When I die in PvP or while adventuring, I still lose the poison charges.  This is F'ing ridiculous.  Every time the server is bounced for maintenance, I hope that when it comes up this will be fixed.  But apparently they are too busy making sure DFC mobs aren't wearing pink anymore..  UGH!
