I have a 44th level half-elf ranger on the Neriak server. I stopped playing EQ2 in December, but now I am back! I could use some advice on the following questions...1. What have I missed in the past 8 months? What is new that is relevant to a 44th level ranger?2. Is soloing now a viable option for a 44th level ranger?3. I remember Feerott, Cazic Thule, Everfrost and Permafrost. Which new zones should a 44th level ranger adventure in? Are there any special flags or requirements for these new zones?4. Which new quests are relevant to a 44th level ranger?5. How has combat changed for a ranger? Are bows now more useful in combat?Any advice you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated. I logged on late last night, and felt slightly over-whelmed with all the new stuff I need to learn.

More so then ever. our Melee attacks are way better.

3. I remember Feerott, Cazic Thule, Everfrost and Permafrost. Which new zones should a 44th level ranger adventure in? Journey is half the fun to get journeyman boots (run speed buff) or Saving soles for efreti boots (power regen) The heritage for Flowing black silk sash is nice too. And if you haven’t already gotten polished granite tomahawk you rly need to get it oh and mana stone....

5. How has combat changed for a ranger?
