<DIV>Hail all, well met...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am StealthMode a lvl 18 predator doing his ranger sub-class quest. I am so lost in the quest its not funny. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'll break this down so you can see how utterly clueless I am...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I went to QH and spoke with Arrell (got the quest). I went to BB and literally searched every nook and cranny (except the water pit on lvl3 that leads to hidden room, I just discovered that on eq2.gamepressure.com. I was directed to find out specific info about this quest from eq2.ogaming.com. However, their site appears to have some bad sql in it. Every tim I load in to their site I get "Can´t connect to mySQL Host", which from my knowledge of web servers, is a very very bad thing. So now I am wondering around BB as clueless as can be. Got bored so I wiped out the one mining room with the named 13th level mine supervisor (Trix or Grix cant remember which). But I am getting very frustrated now. I have gone through EVERY ROOM on levels 1&2, and most of lvl 3 (except that water pit). I am running around with HURT on, so most enemies (if not all) I am invisible to (It did say in the quest to sneak I hope they didnt mean that literally, thats such a low level ability).</DIV> <DIV><BR>So in closing, if any of you sagely Rangers out there would like to help shed some light for this ranger-wanna-be, please for the Love of Antonia, guide me along the right path. I know its got to be something so idiotic that I overlooked somehow. But without guide sites like ogaming, I have to put myself at your feet and grovel for help.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>StealthMode</DIV> <DIV>Wood-Elf</DIV> <DIV>lvl 18 predator / lvl 11 outfitter</DIV> <DIV>Antonia Bayle</DIV>

Its been a while, man, but here goes. If you zone into the brewery area (lvl 3) from Antonica, using the water cave entrance, an NPC can be seen running out of the room into the water cave.  Seeing that NPC is the important part.  I think you are just there to verify the nature of the "plot". I will have to go back and look. You can try eq2.ogaming.com too for quest help, but I have not yet looked up this quest. <div></div>

<DIV>Thanks Pilar I will give it a whirl, I've tried everything else so nothing could hurt at this point. Will update if successful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Btw, ogaming.com is down. If you read the thread above I posted the message I got off their website.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Btw, love your sig...lol. Can I quote you? "Ah screw it." I want to macro it in tandem with /curse lol. <img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by StealthM0de on <span class=date_text>05-25-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:52 AM</span>

<P>When you zone into Blackburrow, run down the bridge and jump down the waterfall thing (near spider pit).  Go underwater to brewery area then run around that area (in stealth) until you get the update, then head back out into the water and when you come up, stealth out or CoQ out!</P> <P>Good luck!</P>

<DIV>Just watch out for Bucky. He gets mildly irate if you steal his beer. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>cheers,</DIV> <DIV>Kae</DIV>

<DIV>I made the mistake of going through the water pool into the cave with the two quests in it first. I took the quests. Went back out into the main pool, into the brewery cave. Walked up the passage (soon as I rounded the corner from the brewery), it gave me the sub-class quest complete. But I got greedy, and tried to take out the 5-6 lvl 14 gnolls by myself. Of course I took two out before I ran for my life (barely 1/4 hp), made it all the way back in the water, through the passage, only to have my last bit of life robbed from me by the fish!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So now I am at Sir Jaegers camp about to do a shard recovery down at the bottom...lol.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Words of advice, don't try to do quests marked lvl 15 when you are only lvl 18 and solo. <img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Buckys beer will be mine, oh yes it will be mine. Sad part is my characters alcohol tolerance is only 39/92. I am a lush....</DIV>

<P>ROFL, so I warn you not to get filchy with the brew, and what do you do?? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>And just FWIW... you really don't want to die in an enclosed underwater cavern. I got killed in one of those once, and my ever-helpful healer attempted to rez me. Upon rez, I choked twice, died immediately, and she attempted again. Choked twice, died immediately. I had to scream at her to stop compounding my XP debt b/c there was absolutely no way that resurrection could help. I was a little salty over the fact that the game screws you like that, but I should've just revived and recovered my shard like a good boy. Life went on, as it always does. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

<DIV>WoW, that sounds like one serious /bug...They should be allowed to move your corpse or something if they got the code nerfed like that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks to everyone that replied. I am now on pt. 2 of that quest. It wouldn't have been possible without your assistance. I am indebted to you...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/bow</DIV><p>Message Edited by StealthM0de on <span class=date_text>05-25-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:40 PM</span>
