problems getting max damage

<DIV>Hi All,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>  I'm a ranger of 45 seasons, and seem to have a problem getting max damage out of my skills, and am not sure why.. is it just resists? Anyone else notice this?</DIV> <DIV>  My agility is around 205 self buffed, and for equipment I have pristine imbued cedar longbow, bone razor, etc.  Fulginate arrows, iron arrows, doesnt matter.</DIV> <DIV>  Can't for the life of me though figure out why i dont get the damage out of my combat abilities that it says I should get. I might try and find a bit more STR as im beginning to like the DPS im pushing out </DIV>

<P>There are many factors determining how much damage your CA does.  The enemy mitigation is one of the major ones.  If the mob has high mitigation to piercing for instance, your piercing CA's wont do as much damage.  I have crippling blade adept 3 and off hand I believe my max is roughly 100-150 points under the stated max.  As a side note to this, check out the permafrost server high hits.  I am not positive it is still there (its been awhile since I checked my high hit ranking) but both myself and another ranger in my guild had the exact same high hits with the same CA, crippling blade.  I know that our str and agi are/were much different at the time, I roughly max at 337 agi in groups (246 self buffed) and over 200 str also.  It played no part in the hit.  If the mitigation of the mob is low enough and the CA is used, the only thing I can think of is that there are set number, perhaps not correctly displayed by the art, that are used.  I will do more logging and checking into this so that I may better inform everyone.</P> <P>Linyen<BR>50 Ranger Permafrost<BR>Fires of Heaven</P>

<DIV> <DIV>You never get a max hit if you fight alone mobs in your lvl range. Alot of mobs have a good resistance/mitigation versus piercing dam (crippling blade).
