hi and welcome,

havng a rhodium you wont be able to make crippling blade as that uses a T4 rare like an opal. Id go for culling the herd which is what i did, managed to get on the top 100 with a hit of over 1000 using that :smileyhappy:, also bought an opal and had crippling blade made adept3

Message Edited by hieronymus on 05-05-2005 02:04 AM

Thanks for the advice. My top melee hit is now 956 with Culling the heard at Adept1. Can't wait to see some 1000+ hits from that Adept III :smileyhappy: Percivil Nightheart 47 Ranger - Befallen

My first Adept III was Storm of Arrows only because it's hard to find the Adept I for it...any upgrades for that matter besides the trainer (I'm anti-app 2). I've hit somewhere in the 1300s with it so far, so I'm not disappointed. Culling the heard is a good choice though, especially if you're not yet 50.

Just some advise for anyone who's reading this thread...

T4 rares really don't cost too much on the broker now, it'd be wise to get Crippling Blade made as soon as you're able to use that skill (38, isn't it?). It's the last skill you get in this line, and it's your highest melee range CA, so it's very much worth it for the few coins you gotta spend to get it made.

Well ya don't have to find a 38.5 jeweler to get the spell made which is the important bit.

I think both the choices listed above are good but also think you should look at what ya use most 60 sec timer could make it a little less useful than say Tanglethorn or longshank or the combo of them since they are high damage on 10 sec timer. But in the end you should have just about every 38.5 + spell at adept iii or master i for maximum effect. (Gonna cost a bundle though might wanna rethink making something outta that ebon=P) :smileytongue:

First T5 adept 3 I got was Storm of Arrows. Might not be the most *efficient* use of an adept3, but it sure is fun to see the damage that thing can deal to a group. This also put me on the top 100 highest hit list for my server, which Culling the Herd and Crippling Blade didn't do =P

Linyen's list is good, you can't go wrong getting any of those made, regardless of the order.
