<div></div><div></div>i went woodworker thinking it'd be the most useful, and although at the moment it isn't general board talk suggests i'll be smiling come end game... i'll tell ya when i get there <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span> althought to be fair i started crafing when i was lvl 20+ adv anyway so it was a bit of a grind to get them even, if you can, get crafting above adv and you'll reap the rewards, as it is a 33 ranger/30 woodworker i had to go to someone else to make my pristine imbued oak bow <span>:smileysad:</span> (thanks okima) so... to give the woodworking view, you'll never craft arrows for personal use (or sale) bar end game, the only weapon you can use that you'll craft are bows (and totems, which i haven't used myself) and since timbercraft you probably won't sell vast quantities of paper or quills bar to order on the flip-side SoW totems sell and water breathing totems of the otter are always handy what's your current adv/craft level, might let us advice a little more? <DIV>I picked WoodWorker thinking that arrows would be a nice necessity to have. But arrows are not important unless you are using non CA's (which is never or if u are kiting) or if you are fighting a uber end game mob with immunities to certain kinds of attacks (blunt, pierce, slash, etc).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But still, I enjoy making totems, making my own bows and shields, wands for others and my alts, so Im happy with what I picked.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Totems are awesome in my opinion. Im always makng them to keep cause I like the power regen ones for a group, and the health regen ones for soloing. They are very addicting. I always give one to the healer or mage in my group so they can regen faster and get hooked on them as well. Plus the shape changing it cool looking too. I hand them out like candy trying to get people hooked hehe.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also make shields for soloing for added defense. Since u solo a mob using CA's only, the shield helps keep me alive longer, until Im snaring and kiting the remainder health of the mob with my bow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I could reroll again, I might choose jeweler or stick with WW not sure. Im always buying adepts so app4's would be made rarely unless I want to make some money, but being able to make Adept3's would be sweet and the jewelry as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In my server, food isnt that expensive so I never wanted to go provisioner.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Theres my 2 cps and some change :smileywink:</DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Davilan77 on <span class=date_text>04-26-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:49 AM</span>

<DIV>I recommend keeping your crafting skill up with your adventure skill. If you want to be able to use your wares that is. If you want to make your imbues for yourself, you have to give your tradeskill level 9 levels or so higher so u can make imbues for your tier.</DIV>
<DIV>My wife took up provisioner as a craft after abotu 30 levels of being a ranger. She did it during the big bad huntsmans trap stealth bug that kept her from going out and hunting. She is now a very happy 35 ranger/39 provisioner. Woodworking can be good money with the totems I would imagine as most people I know use them. In fact I am thinking of taking my dirge alt down that road for some extra cash. Tailoring might be nice for the dolls, but they require harvesting rares, so that may be a costly endeaver to undertake at first. My wife hasn't bought a single arrow since she got makeshift arrow. In fact she has that trained to adept 1 and gets a free 30 arrows every use now. She also uses rip to get feyiron. When she runs low on arrows, she simply goes and crafts some food and does makeshift for a few hours.</DIV>
Sorry I am so new..but what are Totems ? What do they do ?

<span> "</span>I know this has been discussed, but would REALLY appreciate your thoughts." It's been discussed - last week and the week before I think. There's not that much activity on this particular forum - if you scroll down or go back a page or two at most, you'll find the other threads. Lots of good thoughts in them. <div></div>
