<DIV><FONT size=2>I'm sure the rest of you have noticed, but just in case - we can now cast Pathfinding on the run, just like our other self-buffs. I have to admit I'm amazed they gave us this, but you won't find me complaining. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Woohoo!</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>I hope this is here to stay. I love it! Its cool for the bards too since it gives them more of a bard feel even though PF isnt a song hehe. I also figured out that foresters insight stacks and adds even more speed! Woohoo!</DIV>

I had not noticed this at all!  Can't wait to try it tonight.  I did my usual.  Stop and cast.  I love posts like this, thanks so much.

<DIV><FONT size=2>Yeah, it was in for a few days before I noticed it myself. I just recast whenever we're standing still - prior to battle, afterwards, while someone's AFK, whatever. I actually stumbled across it by accident and then went "wait...wait just a second here!" </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>And then came the Happy Ranger Dance. <cues disco ball></FONT></DIV>

<DIV>This is GREAT news and I hope it wasn't an unintentional change. I can't tell you how irritating it is (well, as fellow Rangers, I guess you all know) to have to stop when you're in the middle of either running away from a fight and/or kiting and having Pathfinding drop on you, then having to stop and recast this slow-casting spell.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>*does a happy ranger dance*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

My biggest grief was running across a zone with a higher level ranger wearing j-boots (I won't mention your name Cele <cough&gt<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. He would outrun me, leaving me without pathfinding, which would slow me up that much more. Now it's not that big of a deal. Sure he still gets there first, but I'm not moving at a snails pace anymore. <div></div>

I was surprised and happy to find it too <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Helps when I have to run from a mob and I forgot to put on Pathfinding <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<P>I would always use Pathfinding to bring me out of cloak, whether I needed it or not.  It was easier than right-clicking and canceling.  Now it is even better.</P> <P> </P> <P>Kwent</P>

I noticed this by accident myself a few days ago and find myself smiling every time I cast pathfinding while moving now.  :smileyhappy:  This is a minor, but GREAT change.

Ok, please lock the thread, or stop talking about this....if we seem to excited or over eager about it, then they will surely take it away from us. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:smileytongue:</DIV>

<DIV>I'm no longer excited about movement not interrupting our spell casting ability.  Bone-head play of the week.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Was helping out a fellow ranger with the Stilleto's Order's quest in CoD, we killed the giant Octopussy and while doing the skelly part, I accidently hit Evac.  In the 3 seconds I had to interrupt, I ran, jumped and sat down.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We all ended up in TS with a 12 hour delay to re-enter CoD.  Total humiliation.:smileysurprised:</DIV>

Um, sitting DOES interrupt evac and all the rest of our arts.  I find it an invaluable part of my arsenal.  Maybe you didn't use it in time, or crouched instead. Sometimes I annoy group members by spamming take aim and sit to constantly throw out the animation <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>Since it was the last thing I tried, It most likely was a little late.  But, then again, if we rave about something without any complaining, the Devs are sure to take it away.   I used movement to interupt many spells in the past.  Since my hand was already on the mouse, It could be done in a split second.  Just have to break that habit and start using the x key.  It's going to be hard because I have nearly 6 years of playing EQ1 and we all know what happens when you sit down next to the mob in a planes raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So this is me complaining.  Just doing my part to show the Devs there is a balanced effect to allowing us to cast on the run.  Jeesh, even after a full nights sleep, I still can't belive I evac'd us.  <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by Gareorn on <span class=date_text>05-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:59 AM</span>
