View Full Version : PIck Off Master - what's it worth?
<DIV>Recently looted a Pick Off (Master 1) and since I'm no ranger, nor any of my friends, I was wondering how much it could be worth to a ranger. I like to be fair and reasonable when I price my items, so I figure a ranger would know the true value.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To me, it doesnt really look like its worth it to upgrading, but maybe you rangers know something I don't.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any input is greatly appreciated.</DIV>
I would seriously pay at most for pick off master is 30g, but then again I am poor, its a general debuff, an upgrade to corner, I use mine as a trigger into my HOs... However, you could proubly get the adept 3 cost to sell it, and maybe a little more added in, its a good spell, but not neccessary in combat, unless you're fighting mobs 4 levels or higher than you.

Start selling at 3p. Reduce the price by a certain amount every week until you sell it. <div></div>

Like a previous poster mentioned its not one of the skills Rangers drool over. I would pay 3p for Crippling blade, and thats about it. For a debuff? One that is only marginally better then the adept 3 i can get for less then 1p? Not even remotely close to 3p. Then again there is a sucker born every minute.

I wouldn't pay more than 50g for pickoff Master I, but there are plenty of plat-buying idiots out there who don't know the value of currency and would buy any dumb thing for any price. Fleece em for all their worth. Real players know the value of their Master skills, there own money, and what makes good sense to them.</span><div></div>

<P>Pickoff is not a primary skill. It's something I use in my HO Macro, but since it's not a high Damage skill, I'm content with my Adept I version. I likely would drop maybe 25-30g to say I have the Master version, but honestly not worth much more. Compared to a skill like, say, Triple Fire... I'd pay 2-3p for Triple Fire, since it's one of a mid 40's Ranger's highest damage Bow skills.</P> <P>Prices on skills depends on how much sue they are. Pick off just doesn't warrant much coin to upgrade. :smileyindifferent:</P> <P> </P> <P>Blackan</P> <P>45 Ranger</P>
thanks for all the input guys, i really didnt think it was worth a whole lot when I looted it. <div></div>
