Crippling Blade Vs. Hagar's Deft Lunge?

<DIV>Mostly because the class choices are special, like your character.  So when you choose the ability not only is it at adept 2 quality, but it is supposed to be an advanced skill that you will use for some time.</DIV>

Adept 1 Crippling blade will overtake Heft's lunge at around lvl 43 in dmg.   Obviously an adept 3 will do it sooner.  Like mentioned above, Heft's is a special backstab, that is adept 2, and has a fairly high mastery on it for the lvl at which we get it.   Like all skills, Crippling blade takes time to mature.  Give it a few lvls.

I have been wondering if skills increased as you level, but have never gotten a solid answer.  That decreases my sadness about the money I spent replacing my Shrouded Strike Adept III with Pouncing Attack Adept III. http://www.celestialmischief.org/images/adept.jpg I was a little depressed at the 9 hp damage increase in something that cost me dearly. <div></div>

<DIV>Some skills, namely dmg ones do increase as your lvl.  Its same as your armor and weapons.  While they are yellow and orange, you don't get the full AC and dmg values.  Just examine them after you lvl.  You will see a small increase in their dmg.   After you have mastered that skill, ie it has gone white.  They will stop increaseing in dmg. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Your Shrouded Strike will get better as you lvl up. </DIV>
