I say go Cedar Imbued all the way not sure about others only 41 myself and not yet got The Bone Dirk. Ebon will be costing a lot sence it is used for a HQ in thoughs levels.

SBD is rather unimpressive for the effort required in the quest.  Its damage is the only thing it has going for it. Ykesha is VERY nice, however the imbued ebon weapons ARE better in both stats AND proc.  The Ykesha proc is only about 80 max damgage at lvl 44 currently....imbued weapons (fulginate AND ebon) proc around 250+.  But ykesha is still VERY nice for a "free" weapon....just a rough quest to complete. Imbued Cedar is pretty much your endgame bow until they decide to put in a Heritage Bow of some kind (doubtful) Armor, medium armor doesnt seem to get much love in the loot department 40+....its all heavy armor usually.  So stick with an imbued fulginate, IMO. The only problem i am seeing is with Live Update 7...they are changing the procs on imbued weapons to ONLY proc with THAT particular weapon lands (yeah it makes sense, but unfortunate nonetheless).  So a cedar bow may not be worth it anymore, but the stats still rock =). I, personally, at level 44 am wielding Ykesha with PGT in my offhand....i FEED off that power boost.  I have seriously considered replacing them with imbued fulginate weapons though since the proc is SWEET for those long epic fights where we end up auto-attacking and relying on poisons/procs to do our damage. Just my 2cp =) <div></div>

<DIV>45 Ranger here and for weapons I use the SSoY and PGT and a Cedar Bow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have bought 2 imbued fulginite weapons and the proc is nice so you can debate which is better that or the SSoY.  I like the SSoY because some of the higher level mobs can only be hit by Treasured or higher weapons, that means fulginite won't cut it, it would have to be ebon.   So that is one of the reasons why I stick with the SSoY.  And for me, even at 45 the PGT can't be beat, the ward is too good and so is the mana.  You can do more damage with the CA's from the 200 mana proc of the PGT than any other offensive proc.</DIV>

Here is a post I just made, hope its helpfull, I use slashing as my main dmg type. I seem to get resisted on my piercing attacks more often then not.
