Right now I only use the feysteel legs/chest/shield if I'm soloing. Stats with Tolan's Talent, Forester's Insight, and the ring effect on: <img src="http://www.improvmasta.com/eq/35stats.jpg"> <div></div>

<div></div>My own comments: I'm wearing light armor boots because they're the only ones that look OK with this new armor. The bracers are light armor as well, but for a class that doesn't get hit much, and taking under consideration the comments made by Blackguard about medium armor not mitigating much more than light armor, I don't think it's a big deal. My resists have all taken a hit to wear this stuff, but I feel the +5 spellavoid on the gloves MORE than makes up for that. I was going to go with an imbued oak bow, but had a cedar made for when I hit 40 instead. Does anyone have any confirmation that a proc with the same name will check for a proc more often when using multiple weapons with that proc? That would be very nice information to have. Oh and in case you're wondering, I'm using the PGT with the dagger, of course. I also carry a Manastone and poisons. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Fennir on <span class=date_text>03-31-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:46 PM</span>

<DIV>Agi doesnt mean a whole lot dude. I respeced to get str, agi only matters for when you are soloing which is nill to none. I do have agi gear though for when I get very bored and want to go see what I can solo. Go all str if you want dps, if you want to tank reroll a guard or monk.</DIV>

<DIV>AGI doesn't only affect avoidance, it also affects accuracy. So having more AGI means you miss less, and missing less is always good for improving your DPS. :smileywink:</DIV>

<div></div>AGI doesn't mean a whole lot? LOL AGI = power, avoidance, chance to hit. There is a soft cap at 200, so I am not working to increase my AGI much beyond that. I see no reason to let it fall below. Besides, my STR is already 123 at level 36. I don't think I'll be having any problems, considering my DPS doesn't even really come from STR, but from my combat arts, which run off my power (AGI). And you can laugh about my guys tanking ability, but he can off-tank likfe nobody's business. A series of bow attacks does wonders for peeling off a caster or a priest, and with the +3 DEF stacked with my +2 racial DEF, using Adroit, and the +5 spellavoid (among other things), I can stay up a lot longer than anyone else in a single-tank group. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Fennir on <span class=date_text>03-31-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:19 PM</span>

The healing chestpiece has a HoT component, so it is pretty much always throwing in a 40 point heal every tick or so once you get hit. The legs and shield will proc 2-4x per fight, and the weapon usually procs 1-2x per fight. Usually only my PGT and the imbued weapon is proccing, adding about 2-400 dmg per fight. <div></div>

<DIV>Very Nice gear. Love your str. Str does effect our CAs. It helps us hit for near max dmg more often.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for hats, I would suggest going to CoT and getting the Chainmail Coif of Dark Whispers. It has better stats than the D'Morte, except it does have -1 defence. But I rarely tank so, that doesn't matter to me. Aslo a good earring is Zig's Wing from CoT as well. It has 15 Agi, adds to all but melee resist and has +2 to spell avoidence. But with your AGI, its not that big of a deal. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>from what I have heard, the Imbued bows do proc off of melee. I'll be able to ya for sure soon. Should have my Imbued Cedar bow shortly. </DIV>

<DIV>On procs:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With Blade Flurry, 2 melee proc weapons, 1 proc bow, and poison applied... nearly every shot will proc SOMETHING.</DIV> <P>Open Shot nearly always procs multiple things - unless it misses completely of course.</P> <P>I hit 50+ DPS at level 21 against gnolls the other night using mainly my bow.</P> <DIV><BR></DIV>

sup sok u *$%#&! yeah we have dev confirmation on why rangers are proc [Removed for Content]: apparently proc rate is inversely proportional to the speed of your weapon... so a low speed weapon will appear to proc more often, although it will even out over time to fall in line with its faster counterparts. ...rangers get combat arts which shoot multiple arrows at once, each counting as an individual attack. so you combine that with the 7 second delay on a long bow and you have yourself a proc party. <div></div>
