<DIV>Maybe it does change later on, but as of right now kiting for me is an efficient way of earning xp while waiting for friends to log on and get a group going.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At 26 I have very little trouble kiting around Yellow double up Giants in TS.  Of course it helps i'm not Kos to centaurs so only have to worry about the occasional lion matriarch roaming around, or a griffin if I really mess up and wander off.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I kite slow moving giants around, its just a matter of keeping them snared and remembering to keep up suvival instincts.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And the person who said the poisons do most of the damage is correct.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With poisons, and most (except for trickshot) of my Bow ca's at adept III Its neither hard nor very time consuming.  And the xp gain is great.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Basically I've found out that as long as I can snare it and have some room to bow kite I can solo it.....so long as its not a caster.   Casters eat me up thats the biggest problem I have.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If anyone has any advice on taking down yellow + casters solo I"m open to ideas, as a whole I just avoid them altogether.   I'm guessing most of you do as well.  If I'm wrong and missing something please say so because i'm getting sick of avoiding green casters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nial </DIV> <DIV>26 Ranger </DIV> <DIV>Antonia Bayle</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I "kite" solo mobs whenever I am waiting on a group.  Once you get in your 30's, I doubt that you will be kiting double arrow mobs.  What my Kiting technique entails is engaging mob with sniping shot, immediately triple firing, then maybe a debuff arrow, then engaging in melee and HO'ing.  Sometimes I throw in take aim (double arrow attack but 3 sec fire time).   One of the big problems you run into is if you run into a string of "gifts" HO's not blows, you may not make it.   I have tried this technique on double arrow greens (lvl 39) mobs but it kinda hurts when they wack you for 800+ with crushing blows of 1200+ (undoable).  Ensnaring/leg shot help give you some distance, but remember that you WILL get hit kiting..this is not EQ1 where you would kite all day and not get hit.   There is always the danger of dying to stuns or adds, etc. <div></div>
