[expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] since does that make 1. your one person they get 4 more paying players as you are leaving so it fazes them not 2. your leaving to hope to show SOE so they will fix rangers...... your leaving if they fix them u CANT PLAY THE NEW RANGERS. With that said i enjoy my ranger nerfed or not if u played ranger in first EQ then u should expect this we are the rangers come on guys gotta throw the ranger suck era in there it just tradidtion we will get fix. i can feel itAs for yesterdays patch people are complaing that they didnt fix this or that .........*smack* atleast they fixed "attempted to fix" somthin, we are goin in the right direction hell we coulda been one of the classes who just got a spelling correctionany ways flame or not thats just my view and i had to express it again sorry for grammer

<DIV>I don't think they attempted to fix it at all. </DIV> <DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People keep saying how difficult it is to build something like EQ2, but the longshank spell is nothing new. All you need to do is to copy and paste the script for pouncing attack and change the damage. The level 47 spell is almost identical to the poucing attacking spell except for damage. Then, you create a lvl 50 ranger and test it. If it works, case closed. </DIV></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think they just crossed it off the list and pretended that it was fixed. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is unacceptable response from SoE. We've been bugging it for like 2 months or something, starting from the first lvl 47 ranger. I think there is a law against firms that do bad customer service. Guess it doesn't apply to online games. =P </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But then again, they did fix some other spells I think. I HOPE. I couldn't log in for 2 days because the servers were down at my play time, so I still have no idea about whether or not they fixed anything. =p</DIV>

<DIV>How many people ever play EQ1?...show of hands.  Well for those who did they know that sometimes you have to demand some changes.  When EQ1 got off the ground, many classes had alot of problems and it took some time for those class balancing issues to be worked out.  I totally agree with much of the gimped ranger issues (specially at higher levels), but don't quit.  Rangers sucked early on in eq1 but ended up being one of the highest dps classes.  Give it some time, keep the pressure on the devs and demand reasonable things like makeshift fulginate arrows to keep costs down, more improved archery skills, faster pathfinding and other great ideas people had.  </DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>I've been all over the map on this stuff (consistency was never my strong point) but right now I'm back to having fun with my ranger. Woo! It's a matter of spending my time wisely and keeping myself interested. When adventuring in TS was getting tedious and/or too time-consuming (getting a group together and keeping it focused can be very draining), I was in a slump, feeling discouraged about my damage and my slow advancement. So...head for the kitchens, where damage and adventure level have no bearing. That was a couple weeks ago, I went from 11th craftsman to 19, about to be an honest-to-goodness provisioner. The process of crafting itself is more than a little tedious, but it was fun to break up the routine and explore a different aspect of my character. I've even made a little coin on the side, and have kept my friends well-fed and a bit tipsy to boot. I'm in no real hurry to gain adventure levels, so I'm taking my time, finishing off old quests and getting new, interesting ones. Also been playing my monk alt quite a bit more, just got him to 20 over the weekend after helping several friends with betrayals. The moral of the story? If you're not having fun, change it up and get out of the routine, it might really help.</FONT></DIV>

Shrouded Strike would be the one <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Yah agree Pouncing attack is bugged, minimally but still bugged.  Shrouded strike, as soon as you hit your stealthed.  It seems like there is a 3 second pause or something with pouncing attack though.  I thought it was just me but I guess not.  just add it to the list I guess.</DIV>
