<DIV>What would change in the world if arrows were ridiculously cheap? 1 cp for tin... 2 cp for iron...4 cp for carbonite... 8 cp for feyiron... 16 cp for fulginate.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would crafters quit selling their arrows on the brokerage? As far as I can tell they don't sell arrow to begin with... not worth the labor involved it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would people start buying up arrows like crazy? Why would they... most classes other than Rangers would only use their arrows to pull.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would it make crafted arrows obsolete to even crafters? Maybe the normal arrows, but they would still craft out the specialty arrows. If crafted arrows were REALLY better afterall, perhaps that would supplement the demand</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just tell me SOE, what would be the crime in having Rangers with arrows they didn't have to worry about shooting? What is wrong with the idea of an Archer character going crazy and kiting their enemies without regard for "how much these arrows cost"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wouldn't it be more fun for the archer to use his bow? Isn't the fun aspect the most important criteria?</DIV>

<DIV>As a ranger i always buy player crafted arrows (slashing and blunt)  because a lot of raid content high lev is imune to piercing or slashing..   And in order to keep my DPS up on raid mobs i eed arrows that do slashing damage or blunt..</DIV>

<DIV>They need to increase arrow damage by 300% and leave the price as it is. =p Hell, I don't mind if they increase the price by 100% if the damage goes up by 300%. XD</DIV>

<DIV>Personally if you just eliminate player crafted arrows, which was always worthless in EQ1, then you eliminate the problems of over pricing merchant arrows.  No way is there enough PC arrows available to keep up with the demand for them, so why not just nix it all together.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just my 2cp worth anyway, perhaps fletchers will flip out at this, buy I honestly don't feel they are making much from arrows as it is rght now.  Like a previous poster said, it's not worth the effort, because your only market is Rangers.  Other Classes that use bows do not need them to do damage, only need to get the mobs from Point A to Point B.  heck half the players with bows, only use bows for the stats they get from them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It was the same in EQ1, alot of that had to do with Rangers getting Endless Quiver, so never needed to buy more then any given arrow, I just feel its unfair that one class has to carry the weight for an entire Tradeskill proffesion.</DIV>

Speaking as a 36 Ranger and 34 Woodworker, here is what I'm looking at when I go to craft Feyiron Hunting Arrows. I takes 7 different combines to make 25 arrows if I hit pristine. At a cost of 61.8 copper per arrow, if I miss pristine they cost 81.3 copper (price does not take into account the wood, root and metal cluster just fuel). You can buy Feyiron Arrows from the vendor in Eldarr for 77c. To make any kind of profit and to at least cover my time I have to sell for a minimum of 2s each. If I followed the standard T4 markup they would be 10s each. Needless to say I don't sell arrows much. (I did sell a couple hundred before the fixed the fuel bug for 1s each)Lysiia RaindancerRanger of Unrest

<DIV>Wouldn't all our problems be solved it they changed the pristine craft from 25 arrows to 99 arrows ?</DIV> <DIV>Means that a crafter can make an entire stack at ones. Same prices, but in the end it means a crafter pays only 1/4th of the price now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Making it worthwhile for all classes ?</DIV>

I like that idea. Why not a stack for the final combine?Pristine = 99Regular = 75Shaped = 50Crude = 25I would also like to see the ability to fletch in the field as in EQ1. Even if they were maxed out at crude (all subcombines done previously)
