I'm sorry, but you must either not know how to play your ranger or just totally be out of it. I've had a blast with this game. Even after coming from EQL and FF11, playing rangers in both, I'd have to say this is the best form yet, in my opinion. Oh well. Thanks for playing anyways.

Honestly, I would quit when the game stopped challenging me - some players seem to go in with the impression that every single level should be merely another step on your way to god status. I want to feel that satisfaction that comes from getting there despite the odds. If it simply became a methodical kill, stat, level affair, I would walk away (something I'm sure my girlfriend would be more than happy to accept as well <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )

I agree that rangers are under-powered compared to some other (i'm not asking for a nerf), and that some abilities should not be available to other classes. Rangers don't have any uniqueness unlike others. But i still take great pleasure to play mine and feel like i'm really starting to discover the game as i go up in lvl (30% to ding 43). Challenge is good in a game and certainly makes it fun, unless it's ridiculously too hard/long (waiting for a 3 hours + spawn from a mob, and there are too many of those).I think you needed a reason to quit eq2 and just thought about this one. Seeing how things go, you could have picked a better one or try another class that are similar (too much imho) to ranger (assassin or swash/brig).Do you really think the game would be fun if you could actually solo your way to lvl 50 without dying once ?
