<DIV>Heya, I have just reached level 18 and I would like to see if I can get some opinions on where to fight at.  I love grouping and solo'ing.  With the recent changes with the Feburary 18 patch, solo'ing is kinda limited from what I have noticed, so keep the changes in mind. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Things I would like to know ( and I'm sure others would like to know ):</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Zones to fight at</DIV> <DIV>Creatures to kill while in a group / soloing</DIV> <DIV>Fight these mobs from level x to level y</DIV> <DIV>Difficulty ranges</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you could post what you did from say , 18 to 20 and then 20 to 23 or whatever, it would be great!!!  Every little bit will help me, so don't be afraid to post and say what you did! :smileyvery-happy:  Thanks guys and gals! I appretiate it!</DIV>

<DIV>I went round Antonica for most of the late teens, but by about 20+ I'd fallen in love with Stormhold.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I will admit that it took a while. The first few times I went there I had pretty bad luck with my pickup groups, and got slaughtered heinously over and over. Put me off for a while. But then I had AQ3 turn up to go in there, so I bit the bullet and joined a group... and it was fantastic. Not a single death. Everyone worked together to get the mobs we needed, we explored round level 2 (3 scared us still, we were doing well, but we weren't stupid <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ) and had a great time doing so. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you can get the right people around you, the SH will give you hours of fun and xp.</DIV>

<DIV>Alright, I went to the scarecrows near Steppes Tower in Antonica and I duo'd with a cleric of one level above me.  We did AWESOME!  Some of the best exp I have gotten in a long time.  I felt like I was level 14 again!  Well, he got level 20 and it slowed down for me alittle.  When we were done, he was 50% into 20 already and I was nearly 19.  So then I joined a pick-up group to get 19.  The next day I went and did the ranger quest and then went back and got a 19 cleric and did it again.  Got level 20 in an hour or so, which may seem slow or fast to you but concidering it was not hard and we had no deaths, it went by pretty quickly, and I had someone to chat with.  I would suggest this to anyone that is decently equiped and has fairly good DPS. Well, I'm gonna start my armor quests now and I'm assuming that brings me to Stormhold so thats where I will be.  At what level should I move onto Thundering Steps (sp?) ?  Thanks!!! =D</DIV>

I've got to 25 through almost entirely solo adventuring, and if you pick your battles, there is no real problem with it. Making sure you have a good supply of arrows, a good quality poison, and know the area you are hunting in is helpful in any case, but more so when you solo. Taking time to hunt in places with good collection areas is a good idea as well. That way, you can make plenty of gold along the way - getting app 3's and adept 1 abilities was easiest for me from 18 onwards. SH can be a debt monster if you don't have a good team, so be careful. I spent a lot of 18-23 in BB hunting spiders and some of the higher gnolls. The spiders are great XP and they seem to have a nice drop rate for merchant fodder too. Venturing into TS as a soloist should wait until 22-23 when you can really start to take advantage of some of the undead, scarecrow and wildlife on offer. I've milked TS from 23-25 without too many disasters, and I'm starting to get comfortable with were I should and shouldn't be.I also wouldn't forget about just roaming around, picking up XP for visiting some of the further out sites. If you havn't done a run through Nektulos Forest to get to the Commonlands, go for it. It is pretty scary the first time around, but with Hunt on, you should make it through without too much incident. Just grab a map, and take the shortest route through to the Commonlands. Once there, you can hunt some Orc, and visit the sites to pick up some healthy XP as you go. From 24 onwards, there is plenty to keep you busy in TS. Once you get Escape at 25, you can start taking a few more risks and figure out what you can take, and what you can't <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>Thanks!  I'm doing the Armor Quest's and there is a great guide in the ranger section on that so it shouldn't be too hard.  After I get all this new armor I should be better off! </DIV>

Didn't read any of the replies, but heres my 2 cents.18-20, Kill Rotstuff ScareCrows in group. Lv 20 start your AQ, always nice to do if you can't afford good armor. During the day I like to group in Thundering Steppes, usually group up and kill Giants. Great exp. When at night, when its hard to find a group, I like to run around killing enraged and normal solo guys.

<DIV>At 18 - 19 I did the ^^ Green Stags in Archer Woods</DIV> <DIV>20 I did the ^ and ^^ Green Bears and the other guys in the Hidden Vale( forget thier name). The Den Mother drops some gloves that sell really well to other players.</DIV> <DIV>21 I did the Rotstuff at the TS griff tower and the other ones in the North Farm Lands</DIV> <DIV>22 I did snakes and crabs for guild writs.</DIV> <DIV>23 I'm still doing writs and I'm 1/2 thru the level but I'm sick of killing the same thing so it's time to move on and try my hand in SH.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Loco</DIV>
