Ranger move speed

From the Prima 'Official' game guide:"Rangers have the fastest movement speed in the game. With buffs that increase speed past that of the other scout professions, you'll be flying across Antonica in no time."Is this accurate at all? If yes, what are the skills? If no, has anything been said that means the Ranger has been changed to this exclude this fundamental ability?

thats a bummer. not for dirges, but ability to move fast was supposed to have been a part of being a ranger. I wish SOE would make an effort to keep characters true to the original descriptions. I hate making characters that get to medium high level only to be stuck with something that does not match what you expected.

i have a 58 ranger on unrest that i can buff to 66% movement speed. have yet to see anybody faster without cheetah or a really fast horse. AA pathfinding=46% jboots = 10% fay natural speed =5% silvani form=5% if i use droag swill i would be at 106% capped to 100%

yes rangers run 46% with it, its a GREAT skill, i got it and love it

The prima guide was referring to in-combat runspeed.  Rangers at the time the guide was made were the only class with an INCOMBAT runspeed buff.  This was probably to make kiting easier.  This is not the case anymore, as druids may accept the heirophant AA line and gain super high incombat run speed amounts. teehee Things change!
