A few patches ago, they changed a bunch of armor looks. I logged in and was elated to see how cool my AQ armor looked. Two days later, they changed it back to the same old, original AQ look. Luckily, I got a screenshot.So...... can anyone tell me what this armor ACTUALLY is?<img src="http://www.millsplace.com/pictures/armor.jpg" >P.S. I apologize if anyone can't see the picture. I switched web hosts a few days ago, and the DNS changes might not have propagated the entire Internet yet.<p>Message Edited by MillsFairchild on <span class=date_text>02-18-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:08 AM</span>

I'm not 100% certain, but it looks *similar* to pristine forged carbonite. But I have indeed not seen every piece of armor there is out there.....perhaps if it were on a high elf female, I could be more certain. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />BTW...I am also colorblind, so please no flames if I am way off-base.
actually, I think that is feyiron

Sorry...it is definitely not the forged carbonite stuff...crafter made forged steel perhaps?

Hmm... I haven't seen anyone else on my server wearing it since that day. Good guesses, but anyone know for sure? I want it back!!<p>Message Edited by MillsFairchild on <span class=date_text>02-18-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:08 PM</span>
<DIV>Nah, thats definatly the Feyiron look though, except the glove graphics changed now, feyiron has a nice green tinge like that, but the gauntlets are no longer gauntlets, but are gloves, which looks kinda weak no, on extreme performance, i feel like I am in AQ stuff again..</DIV>

<DIV>Looks like Chainmail stuff to me. I dont think the material matters cuzz i have feysteel chainmail gear and it looks just like that. And i think the brigadine gear is the dark grey stuff.</DIV>

Forged Feyiron chain used to look like that. On the day where they changed the textures around, that look became the AQ and feyiron chain took on the look of AQ.Now they BOTH look like the AQ set, only the difference is AQ has a green tint and the feyiron is plain grey. I have yet to see a set of the armor from the screen shot since they changed it.

bummer. The armor changes were to increase individuality... but it appears they did away with one of the most original sets of armor in the game.

<DIV>The closest I have seen to that since that armor patch/fix/fixed again stuff is Pristine forged Steel Chainmail. The steel has a bit more of a blueish tint though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Almost all of the tier4 chest pieces look like that unless it is a dropped piece. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Ancient Chainmail Spaulders are real close to that tint, not sure if there is a full set for it</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Hello, I am a level 29 Swashbuckler currently wearing armor like this. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To dispel any myths or doubt, neither FORGED CARBONITE nor FORGED FEYIRON looks like this. If you are looking for armor that looks like the photograph, don't bother buying either of those types of crafted gear.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Instead, you can mix and match any of the following types of Armor:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ravenring Chainmail</DIV> <DIV>Feysteel Chainmail</DIV> <DIV>Enchanted Black Iron Chainmail.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Granted, you do not get a tint when wearing these armors. But...you will still get the same graphic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 29, I am wearing:</DIV> <DIV>Feysteel Chainmail Coat (Chest)</DIV> <DIV>Enchanted Black Iron Gauntlets (Hands - also 8 agility)</DIV> <DIV>Ravenring Chainmail Legplates (Legs)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At level 30, I will be adding: Ancient Chainmail Spaulders (Arms - same graphic)</DIV> <DIV>At level 31, you can add: Enchanted Black Iron Wrists</DIV> <DIV>At level 32, you can wear: Coal Forged Legplates (Legs - also matches this set)</DIV> <DIV>The longest wait is until 34, when Enchanted Black Iron Boots can be worn.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, it is possible to put together a full suit of this armor graphic by level 34, but you can get the tunic, gloves, and leggings by 29 and look relatively well-matched. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope this helps!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Satyr Steelhoof</DIV> <DIV>-29 Swashbuckler on Antonia Bayle </DIV>

<DIV>Just adding that "Steel Forged" (level 20-24ish dropped armor) also looks like this, for those lower folk.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Satyr</DIV>
