Is Ranger one of the less usefull class ?

Really sometimes i wonder. rogues and bards have the same abilities. rogues are better dps, bards can buff/debuff.I feel like it's really one of the hardest class to lvl when u reach a certain lvl. I'm having a hard time finding a group at lvl 38. What's the point of being a ranger, the good side ? I'd apreaciate if someone could give me some solid arguments so i don't kill myself for making a useless char lol

there won't be any useless classes in eq2.rangers are better dps than rogues on short fights, rogues are better on long fights. bards have relatively no dps at all compared to either, but have the buffs. all 3 are dps all the same, and its the same getting groups as any of them. if you honestly want "the most important class" play a tank or a healer. if you're going to complain about class balancing because it will balance out eventually, play the flavor of the week class. I don't mean to flame, but seriously consider that this game is still new.

Ranger is extremly useful, I stopped putting my LFG up a long time ago, and always get asked to join raids and places.. Our DPS is phenominal when played right, we can make really really tough pulls thanks to miracle shot, and can get to most places other classes cant. Rangers useful, you bet your buttons

I never wanted to complain. I try to understand that's all. I've just seen that every class has a litte something that no other have, but i can't find this little something for rangers. I sure beat my record tonight, more than 2 hours LFG... maybe it's not the good day to be a ranger...
