Dual Wield Slashing and piercing at the same time question.

<DIV>In fact I would reckomend keeping both skills up if you can.  Otherwise, if you get that "killer" weapon in a class which lags way behind on skil, you won't be able to hit for crap.  You will just keep missing, so you will have to fight some low level mobs just to level your skill up.  Been there, wastes a bunch of time.</DIV>

Found a good combo to be the Willow Wood weapons. Quest one then buy the other. There the best weapons I've found for the high teens and low twenty levels.

<DIV>Find a good axe on the broker and duel wield your stilletto and axe. Lvl'ing the slashing goes fast this way and you dont feel gimped since your only going to be missing with your slashing weapon. Axe that comes to mind is Feysteel Hand Axe i think....has +8 agility...im not sure what lvl you use it at. I know before the patch i was able to use it at 30 i think and now it cons red to me and im 32.</DIV>

<DIV>I'd like to say that the skill raises very quickly if you haven't used one or the other or a long time. I had been dual wielding piercing weapons for about 6 levels. I bought an Ebon Spatha and my slash was 162 compared to my pierce of 198, or so.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It took less than an hour of xp'n to get my slash even withy my pierce.</DIV>
