Longbows?

<DIV>There's a second bowyer in Eldar Grove, not In Range, but across the grove from there, that sells them for about 28-29 s per bow.  They astually used to show up on the map as a bow shop, now just show up as merchant.  Hope this helps!</DIV>

<DIV>Comparing a Longbow (pristine ashwood) to a shortbow (the level 20 quest bow) is silly.  They are purely situational.  I carry a Short bow and Long bow on me at all times and switch out fairly often.  I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure that the Pristine Ashwood SHORT Bow is better than our level 20 quest bow and same delay.</DIV>

That bow had conned blue to me while the pristine crafted is now conning yellow to me at this point and I am a lvl 26 ranger. <DIV>Ashwood Short Bow is level 23 woodworker...the Long Bow is level 25....umm...give or take a level or two.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you are in the level 24/25 range, you can also use the next tier of Bows...forget what they are called...but they are made by 30+ woodworkers.  Might be Fir I think....</DIV>

fir is a rare tier 3 material. Currently it's bugged, so you cant make it into lumber- therefore fir longbows dont exist (maybe dropped ones, but no crafted ones)
